This would have been a better one to call it on, too, as the grab affected the play with a loose rebound there for the taking. Z's didn't affect the play at all with a foul having been called. Sure would like to be 6-6 (with a chance at 8-6 after this week), as opposed to 5-7 (trying to draw even).

Maybe confusing but that's exactly what I'm saying.  That call was bullshit and so give Z his shots and be done with the play. If ohip state hit a shot when they got the ball back...shit happens and tip your cap.  But these zebra fucks inserting themselves, especially right there and after that horribly called game, is shit.

Every fear I've had about how B1G officials feel about Michigan was validated in the Dan Capron interview this past week when he finally acknowledged that:

1. Referees dont like Michigan

2. Their personal biases and emotions DO influence how they call games

At least now that it's out in the open I no longer have to get really pissed off and yell when shit like this happens because now i KNOW they are basically out to fuck us if they can.

So the B1G should take some of that money and increase the pay for officials while at the same time having a review process (perhaps independent) that holds them accountable.

Additionally perhaps each team should have a few vetos per year where they can opt of certain a official(s) calling a game (likely a big game with a well know slappy of the the other team).  Plus if the officiating roster was posted to the universities in advance there is no reason for the official(s) to know that this was the case.

There was also an atrocious live ball foul called very late where an Illini guy dove for the ball, got the ball, but at some point also made contact with a Sparty player who wasn't ever going to get the 50-50 ball...it was complete incompetence.  I don't buy that they're thay bad, there's more to it.  The wretched calls that go certain ways are intentionally done.

Is this a jersey tug by Mel Tucker because it was orchestrated by Nick Saban at the MSU stadium because Dantonia was pissed about something due to a waffle?

I think I've covered most of the dumbass threads.

During the M game when this was called, the ref said it was a flagrant because Jeff Simpson pulled the OSU player to the ground with him.  He didn't... the dude took like 5 more steps and stumbled on his own, but never fell all the way down - but that was the explanation.  This guy never came close to falling down.  Neither should have been called.
