Don't seem to be in any particular hurry to drive. My daughter is 17 and still doesn't have a license (neither do most of her friends).
I don't understand it. I was at the MI SoS office on my 16th birthday to get mine.

Royal Oak specifically. I don't get it. It's like with the internet and video chat these kids just don't feel the need to ever leave the house. And when they do want to go somewhere mom and dad are stupid enough to drive them. I did recently put a stop to that.
She wanted to go to some concert on a week night "guess you should probably get a license then, because I'm not taking you to and from Detroit on a Wednesday night when I have to work the next day".

That might be overstating it a bit unless you have personal knowledge. Maybe she just wants him to play close to home so she can see his games. Not a crazy idea.
He looks like a great player so maybe gives Michigan another look.

Why are kids 2 years out even allowed to commit? The chances of these 2-3 year out commitments sticking for that long have to be small. Unless the kid is from the area and it is a dream school then I can see them riding it out.
I also don't see why anyone really follows these far out recruits.

.. more to do with the staff looking at taking as many as 7 OL in this class.. if he isn't an elite prospect, he could be sitting behind other guys for 4 years... and might have just been easier to piggy back off Solomon's decommit announcement as far as drawing less attention on him specifically.

The thing is I wouldn't even worry about one recruit from 2018.....but this is the third recruit in the last 24 hours. Hopefully this snowball comes to a hault. Something is going on.
