Jaguars hire someone NOT named Jesse Minter as DC
The Jags went with Atlanta DC Ryan Nielsen to fill their DC opening, just days after "reports" suggested Jesse Minter was their top candidate. Those reports were from Sam Webb, who did say it was Jesse's job if he wanted it... so I guess there's some possibility he turned them down.
One more off the board.

and Harbaugh was in DC for a March For Life walk on Saturday, and then in Baltimore for his brother’s game later that night. Maybe he was covertly interviewing with Washington?

None of the jobs matter, he's going to be in one of 3 places:
- Ravens DC to replace MacDonald
- Michigan with Jim
- NFL with Jim

You forgot to add the 4th one. Follow MacDonald to be his DC. They're apparently close buddies so don't discount that possibility.

I doubt Minter would go work under Baalke based on Jim's advice.

I knew that he was too short and too slow. Needs another few years (decades) in the program!

Because he's going to the Chargers with Harbaugh

Ah yes, Ryan Nielsen. Great hire. Now I will look him up.

He is a good DC. Held the Falcons defense together despite the offense sludgefarting even though they have legit weapons in Bijan, Pitts and London.

That figures, Minter is too young, doesn’t have a wide wingspan and needs to work on his shuttle time.

Fwiw - rumor I heard from a friend of a friend was he interviewed for Jags and Giants, but his preference is was to go wherever Harbaugh goes. Even if Harbaugh doesn't go somewhere, he's still likely to leave.

This one may not apply to Minter - but, it may apply to Macdonald.
It looks like Tennessee is getting close to extending an offer to Brian Callahan. Callahan is the OC for Cincinnati.
Hoping these teams find "other candidates" one at a time.
And - of course - hoping that Michigan / Warde opens the purse strings to make Ann Arbor a rewarding and fantastic place for the entire staff.
Go Blue!
