So what are you doing to help beat Ohio state today?
November 28th, 2021 at 8:15 AM ^
I'll run a few extra miles today.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:25 AM ^
I went for a run in my Michigan gear after the game yesterday, circling around Minnesota’s stadium during their game against Wisconsin. I got a lot of high fives. We weren’t the only ones excited to see Ohio State fall!
November 28th, 2021 at 8:23 AM ^
Watching the 60-minute slimmed down version of the glorious game at noon (Mich time) on BTN!
November 28th, 2021 at 8:35 AM ^
I have the DVR set as well.
Also, it's strange how things have changed...yet stayed the same. The Game used to determine who played in the Rose Bowl. As of yesterday, we may be back to that tradition. Except, it's the loser (not winner) that gets the Rose Bowl bid.

Singing the full version of The Victors out loud as I walk my doggie thru my Columbus neighborhood
November 28th, 2021 at 7:54 AM ^
And it is Glorious!
Go Blue!
November 28th, 2021 at 7:57 AM ^
I, too, am happy. But all these snowflake threads have made the board a real mess. Go Blue.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:01 AM ^
Who fucking cares lol
We beat OSU, have a shot to win the conference and make the playoffs as a 2 seed, but "muh message board!!!!"
November 28th, 2021 at 7:58 AM ^
I think what you mean is 729 days since Ohio State has beaten Michigan
November 28th, 2021 at 8:01 AM ^
Here's a prediction. Over the next 2 or 3 years we are going to find out that Ryan Day is an extremely average head coach.
Jim Motherfucking Harbaugh is a much much better coach in ever facet except for being a cheating bitch.
Michigan is about to own the Big Ten
November 28th, 2021 at 8:03 AM ^
I have been quietly expecting this since he was hired. You simply cannot keep the train rolling forever when you replace a legendary all-time great like Urban Meyer. Look at every dynasty in the past. Yes, the recruiting has been sustained, so that will help it go longer than usual, but eventually they will slide.
Aside from the scUM type fans, the general tone that I've seen from Buckeye fans is that this felt eerily like a John Cooper game. They had more talent, but didn't play with the same toughness or passion, and Michigan simply looked more prepared in every way.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:19 AM ^
More talent? Sure, their recruiting rankings have been higher, but only five Buckeyes recorded a reception to Michigan's nine, and only two of them recorded any positive rushing yards to six of our players. Hell, we had two quarterbacks contribute to the offense! Say what you want about their star players, but Michigan is DEEP.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:24 AM ^
We're deep and we're young. The future is so damn bright its almost blinding me.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:30 AM ^
While Ryan Day’s future is so bright he needs to wear night-vision goggles
November 28th, 2021 at 10:23 AM ^
We're deep and we're young. The future is so damn bright its almost blinding me.
That's the best part of this win. This year was supposed to be a year where we show improvement and set ourselves up for success NEXT YEAR. Our team is young across the board, which means so many guys will be back. McNamara, McCarthy, Corum, Edwards, Bell, Wilson, Johnson, Anthony, Sainristil, Schoonmaker, All(maybe?), possibly 3 OL starters plus all those depth players we've rotated in like Atteberry, Jones, Barnhart, etc. And that's just on offense.
Obviously the defense will lose some studs in Dax, Hutch, Ross and likely Ojabo and underrated Hawkins. But our young safeties (Moten, Moore, Paige), linebackers (Hill-Green, Colson, Mullings), linemen (Macgregor, Morris, Harrell, Upshaw) in addition to our DT's and most of the CB's should be back. We've rotated so much that a lot of the new guys next year already have tons of quality experience from this year.
Our recruiting should be bonkers now that the Ohio State monkey is off our backs. This truly feels like a turning point in this program's history.

Apparently you gotta wear shades:
November 28th, 2021 at 9:24 AM ^
Just lemme stop you there for a second. Please do not use the word “legend” to describe Urban Meyer. He may be good at winning football games, but the man is completely devoid of character. He has shown this multiple times, including when he covered up domestic violence. The word “legend” has a positive connotation to it. Meyer is a shit human being and should not be regarded positively by anyone.
November 28th, 2021 at 10:39 AM ^
I just hope their fans made it home safely.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:06 AM ^
Ryan Day was "born on 3rd" just like Jimmy stated. Day has ridden the Meyer wave and nothing more

Morning with Mourning.
Spending the morning with a cup of coffee enjoying all the mourning on 11 warriors.
So much hate and vitriol and gnashing of teeth in Columbus.
It's like a feel-good biblical story for this Sunday morning.
Think I'll get another cup of coffee and take it all in.
Today is glorious.
November 28th, 2021 at 9:52 AM ^
And it is glorious! The irony is stunning over there and completely over their heads.......
November 28th, 2021 at 8:03 AM ^
IOWA is a MUST WIN to truly continue the ascent to being a more consistent top team in college football. Elite is an over reach but one W at a time and that erodes the Bull sh*t narrative our rivals and other convey about Michigan with the negative recruiting
November 28th, 2021 at 8:10 AM ^
This type of effort is what I have expected from coach Harbaugh since he arrived. Let's hope this season is the beginning. I believe it is but time will tell
Go Blue! Beat Iowa!
November 28th, 2021 at 8:12 AM ^
To all the fans who were able to attend "The Game".
Thank you! for being the Twelve Man.
The comments I've heard about the crowd noise warms my heart.
November 28th, 2021 at 11:08 AM ^
It was loud in the stadium. Fun to experience. Just a great day overall.
November 28th, 2021 at 12:34 PM ^
Yes I second that thank you to all the fans that attended and did a great job you guys were electric and made my day plus others with health issues that can’t attend.

November 28th, 2021 at 8:22 AM ^
It's been over 700 since they last beat us. What a bunch of losers!!!!
November 28th, 2021 at 8:23 AM ^
And Oh what a day it's been.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:25 AM ^
I love how the field storming from the game just flowed right on to the blog. Rules and inhibitions be damned, let the good times roll.

I appreciate this take and am chastened in light of my earlier post.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:26 AM ^
I just let an eight point walk because I’m feeling so magnanimous.
he’ll be bigger next year on the heels of our second straight victory in the game anyway.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:29 AM ^
+1 Insightful
November 28th, 2021 at 8:37 AM ^
Imagine being 23-1 in the Big Ten and not having a winning record against Michigan. Care to comment, Mr. Day?
November 28th, 2021 at 9:22 AM ^
His name is Ryan Day Cooper

Their effort yesterday made me PROUD. They out muscled the bully and beat em down. Great job!
November 28th, 2021 at 8:46 AM ^
It’s been over two years since Ohio sniffed victory! I enjoy it.
November 28th, 2021 at 8:52 AM ^
“Sideline” Harbaugh reminded me of his first two seasons here. It’s great to see the emotion and confidence again.

No one and nothing can wipe the smile off my face!
November 28th, 2021 at 9:20 AM ^
Hmmm all we’ve heard is that Larry Johnson is the best DL coach in college football, I guess if you have the Bosa’s and the Chase Young’s and a big lead all the time and make teams one dimensional you’ll look real good. Of course if he was as good as everybody says why hasn’t he been offered a defensive coordinator or head coaching job somewhere? I guess because he was exposed yesterday!
