If you like Mgoblog and The Onion
Then maybe you will like Mgoblonion? www.mgoblonion.com
If you have time and can check it out let me know in the votes or comments if you like it and I will keep it going or let it die a natural death. Sorry to push another site but mgoblog readers are the only possible audience that might understand it let alone enjoy it...

Not only is this good, but its also good. I need more ways to kill time at work, because working is the only time to look at the computer.

it doesn't work for me. i got the sense you were satirizing AP-style news reporting the way the onion does, but using that to satirize mgoblog content, which obviously isn't written in the AP news voice.
if you're going to continue writing in this style, i'd suggest you use the onion's standard format for writing short humor pieces (their news in briefs).
LOCATION - ap style lead up, restate the headline. "first quote from a source," attribute quote while tacking on a joke. "another quote from the same source." closing joke.
I think this would work better though if you used more casual language like blogs do.

To contribute some content, but you're going to have to give me a piece of the action.

"At first it sounded kind of cool but then I realized it's kind of like saying you are from the 'nice part' of Ohio, or that you were the most important member of Bobby Jindal's presidential campaign. I mean, it may be factually accurate, but in the broader scheme it is actually pretty unimpressive."
Keep up the good work.
