I'm sick of talking about sanctions - anyone have any good recruiting news?

See above.  Even if it's already been posted, I want to change the subject and talk about something happy.

I have to believe that this assurance of petty violations and minor penalties was what D. Hart was waiting for.  If I were a betting man, I'd wager good money he commits this week.

How is there not more information about the barbeque?   There is stuff out there, but it seems like there should be much more.  When are we gonna hear about it?

What do you mean? The premium sites put out a TON of articles on everybody who was there. When Tim does the recruiting post for this week, I'm sure that will be the #1 topic.

Cliffnotes: We lead solidly for Zettel, Rock and Jackson. Jordan loved the visit, we're #1 for him, and he has two friends on the team. Marshall and Cooper gave glowing reviews, and Michigan is in a great spot for both.

Unless someone commits, there's not really anything else to report. Brennen Beyer really liked the food.

I gave you a post interview with Darian Cooper and Branden Jackson, who were probably the two biggest question marks, as far as where Michigan stands.

We have always lead for Anthony Zettel, we're leading for AJ Jordan, I don't really know what else you want to know about it.

What's the NCAA regulation on shipping Mac & Cheese to recruits.  We need to be sending that stuff out immediately if it is going to get us more commitments.  I think I heard once that there is a 20 lb per week limit on Mac & Cheese shipments, so we need womeone to keep an eye on that threshold.

of young children, many of whom will become stud athletes, are going to love watching Michigan's scintillating offense fly up and down the field this year while the opportunistic and punishing Wolverine's D shows immense growth.  So, the 2020 recruiting class should be getting a big boost soon.

Not that we'll know their names for  a few years, but it's great news nonetheless.

Welllllll... I thought this was sort of good news... I was on a Ohio Recruiting Website (scoutingohio.com)...  and we have a lot of players on the radar that are rated very high... AJ Jordan at #6 in the state (ahead of doran grant and steve miller), Chris Rock at #8 (ahead of Ron Tanner, Aundrey Walker, Wynn, Hardy), Greg Brown at #16 (ahead of Jarret Grace, Shaq Washington, Kevin Williams, Ryan Kelly)..... This site only focuses on Ohio recruits, so their high opinion of Greg Brown means a lot to me... Sometimes Rivals just cares about their ability to gain news off of recruits/ camp performances..... That was pretty good news to me at least haha

This could probably warrant its own thread but since it is straight from Scout I didn't want to be that blatant about it.

Apparently Dee Hart has cancelled his trip to Auburn this weekend.  Tom Beaver now lists him at 55% which in adult terms means there could be very good news on the way very soon.

He had him at 51% before the bbq and then 50.1% after he couldn't make the bbq and decided to take more time to decide.

I am guessing that Dee realized the allegations will not ultimately hurt UM very significantly and because the response to the ncca had very little negative information against RR, he was convinced RR will be around next year and beyond or at least his fate will be decided based on wins and losses.
