OSU has one more win and one less loss. They have beaten Cincinnati, destroyed Villanova, destroyed UNC, beat UK. They have been on a skid since late December but turned it around as of late and beat IU.
UM has one more loss and one less win. They have beaten Creighton, beat UNC, destroyed Gonzaga. They have been on a skid since late December but turned it around as of late and beat Rutgers.
I'd say coming in, this is evenly matched...game is at home for UM, so the 2.5 spread seems just about perfect. But hey, screw logic right?

College basketball betting market is usually fairly close to the kenpom numbers (unless major injury) and especially so with totals.
They have tonight's number as Michigan favored by 1.
