Gee this bodes well for Burgergate and self imposing three games. I am sure these fair minded governing bodies will demonstrate the fairness their students have come to expect when penalties are administered.

TRO’s are always a long shot. I’d venture we don’t fare well on Friday either. We have exceptional lawyers. They have exceptional lawyers. Judges usually prefer not to have to take action. Today is a great example of that.

I mean, even if we get a ruling in our favor, given how this went down, would it even happen on the same day?  We have another game next Saturday as well.

I think people are looking ahead to Ohio State but if it's the 20th and we still don't have a ruling and Michigan's sitting on 5-0 on the season without Harbaugh, that kind of does it for the "irreparable harm" argument.

"Rogue newly hired staffer Petitti scuttles entire BigTen conference by breaking loosely defined rules. He resigns and the NCAA gives itself a show cause since it should have known what its members were doing!"

Sounds like the TRO was denied.  I've obtained several TROs (not in Michigan) and the judge generally schedules the preliminary injunction hearing only after granting or denying the ex parte (one party) TRO request.

So the judge denied the emergency TRO request and set a hearing on a permanent TRO?  I don’t get it.  I moved for several emergency TROs in my old life and and they’d get granted ex parte (without a hearing or reply from opposing counsel).  What the hell was the point of an emergency motion if she didn’t rule on the motion and set a hearing?

Three things:

1: fuck the Big Ten. Byee!

2: not biased still means time to remove that judge. How could anyone not see this ploy filing so late and how can anyone see Harbaugh as an offender or institution here subject to the sportsmanship clause? This is a personal vendetta. The big ten's merits suggest you could suspend the receptionist or some valuable player or players of any team or equipment managers and call that punishing the university or institution and not those individuals. That is so clearly an insane and unjust argument. Not a merited punishment. Fuck her. This judge gotta go.

3: finally, I'm kinda glad this has happened. When Janklin and Day lose now this will all only backfire harder on them - as deserved. And, this is the mettle test this team needs to prep them for the Ship run. To win it all your confidence needs to be through the roof. So good, keep Harbs out three games now! See how confident this team gets! We gonna win it all. This is destiny now.

One issue for me is if having another team's signs is such a health hazard to the student athletes, why is it legal to do it at all? Other teams have Michigan's signs, but that’s ok. Michigan having a other teams' signs, it's the worst scandal ever!

It's legal to "steal" and use other teams' signals, but suddenly Michigan is endangering players?

Just got word that Judge Connor, not Kuhnke, just “declined to grant” Michigan’s request for TRO. Thus, Harbaugh will not be on the sidelines today vs PSU.

The strangest month in CFB history continues.

“We look forward to presenting our case next seek where we intend to demonstrate that the Big Ten has not acted fairly,” Kim Broekhuizen, spokeswoman for President Santa Ono’s office, said. “The Commissioner created this situation by issuing his indefensible position at the end of the day on Veteran’s Day, when the court is closed.”

I thought the TRO was suppose to be a simple signature from the judge and not a trial? Who knows the judge may take more time after Friday's trial to make a decision. I think we got the wrong judge!

Pityful petiit dick Tony timed this to get us.  I can't wait for the B10 championship game when he hands the trophy over and the boos rain down on him for the nation to hear.
