Aloha.  Our good friends are up 28-14.  Weather looks to be good.  Craig Ross is maybe there.

He was Karan's teammate at Riverview High Achool. One of the best I've ever seen. He's going to have all the MTSU receiving records soon. Having those two at the same time was just silly.

No their opponent is not a good football team especially on defense. The UM defense on the other hand put a blanket over that Hawaii team even with Wilton starting the game with his first pass getting picked and Hawaii being on Michigans side of the field. What was that final did they get 3 or10 the entire game againxt Michigan?

Am I the only one who thought they could/should have called the infamous "intent to decieve" penalty on that fake punt?

When they lineup for the play, #14 is sort of hanging out on the near side of the field like he's a gunner, but right before the snap he steps off the field and onto the sideline. The announcer even makes a brief reference to it (video clip).

I understand why they didn't call the penalty, the way the rule is worded they didn't actually break it.

A1 leaves the field of play during a down. Team A huddles with 10 players. Substitute A12 enters, and A2 simulates leaving the field but sets near the sideline for a "hide-out'' pass. RULING: Penalty—15 yards from the previous spot. This is a simulated replacement of a player to confuse opponents.

I would argue that #14 was simulating being the gunner in order to distract the defense from noticing the player lined up 10 yards behind the punter, which would confuse the opponents. Maybe I'm over thinking this, but it seems like it should apply in that situation if it did when Butt was called for it against Rutgers last year.
