Has anyone figured out how to sell B1G Championship tickets?
Has anyone figured out how to sell their tickets for Saturday that they got through the UM allotment? I had some miscommunication within the family and ended up with three more than I wanted. Within the link that came from the AD the only options I have are transfer and add to wallet. Anyone advice from anyone would be appreciated!

huh, I've been donating to Yahoo University for several years....

Tried that but have to wait for access to edit from the owner. I have 1-3 available in Section 428 row 9 from the UM Ticket Office. We had 1 person back out so I can either sell just the 1 or all 3 if someone needs 3 and we can purchase 2 others.

You send them to me and I'll take care of it. Don't worry you can trust me. I'm a teacher.

Looking at Seat Geek, I'm amazed how low you can get tickets for this game. A lot available in the $40's (plus fees).

Michigan fans have been there two straight years. Iowa fans just remembered they are playing.

Trust me, I’m ticked about it. I bought them about a month ago thinking I was going to save a ton of money and I paid $100+ more than I needed to apparently. Kicking myself for that.

Fees are insane in many places, over $50 when I checked.
I wish ticketwatch still existed, I’ve held off buying for my group because tickets have fallen about 70% in value and I think it will fall more. Still over 5000 tickets on the public secondary market which is huge considering it’s in 2 days.

Market is flooded as of this afternoon. <$60 fees included is getting you in the door. $75 (fees included) 400 level Iowa endzone, and $85 Michigan endzone same level. Even Iowa sidelines are reasonably priced right now.
Tickets are about half of what they were 2 years ago.

Most "get in the door" tickets in 2021 were closer to $300!

If you're a member of the Alumni Association there is a ticket exchange forum. You would wind up transferring the tickets and work out any payment directly with whoever is interested.

You could also list them on StubHub or similar -- for this particular game I wouldn't be too concerned about visiting fans buying them. In any case, Hawkeyes are much nicer than Buckeyes.

I have them up on the alumni association group. Demand seems pretty low.
Regarding StubHub, the actual how is what is tripping me up. There's no PDF or anything to upload, just the digital ticket that goes to your google / apple wallet on your phone.

Wear a trench coat, with the collar up, and whisper to random people, "Pssst.....Hey bud, you wanna buy these tickets?"

Are they sold? What section/row?
November 30th, 2023 at 3:28 PM ^
Still available. 402, row 14. In the UM section, but obviously not the best seats out there.

I emailed Lucas Oil’s ticket office and they said I cannot resell them via TicketMaster or any other site. Only transfer. Their explanation didn’t make any sense, so I won’t bother you with it, but it’s what they told me.

Thanks, good to know. That's frustrating. I feel like that's something that should be made more clear in the buying process. I imagine they don't want people using their UM status to get tickets just to make a profit, but life changes sometimes.

Lucas Oil is weird about tickets this year. Not sure why. But with demand being as low as it is, if you can’t find people who want to go with you to take them and pay you directly you’re probably going to eat the loss anyway

They can't control what you do on other sites -- you just can't sell them directly via Ticketmaster's resale option. Nothing stopping people from selling them elsewhere and then transferring them.

I believe the workaround is to list them on StubHub, SeatGeek, etc. then transfer them via TicketMaster.

Stubhub will email you to transfer the tickets by going to Ticketmaster with the buyer's details after they are sold. Then, the person who bought them gets an email from Lucas Oil/Ticketmaster to accept the transfer.

Thanks. This method seemed to work. Seat Geek was requiring an upload, but StubHub seems to allow you to transfer after the sale.

There's a sticky ticket thread on the blog that you might be able to use to sell them. https://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/m-fan-m-fan-ticket-thread

If anyone is in need of 2 tickets on Michigan side of field, I have two for sale and will make a good deal compared to what I paid. Sec 607, Row 3
You can email me, if interested: [email protected]
