Harbaugh tweets about Kirby Smart

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

If the Georgia coach is implying any intent on our part to break rules, he is barking up the wrong tree.

I've got a friend that is a Georgia and a Florida FB fan and he's going off calling Jim a bitch. I feel some saltiness in the air! Haha

Exactly! It's so dumb. So when Florida does wee he cheers for them and visa versa for Georgia. It's comical and now my Twitter is lighting up with anti-Harbaugh shit. That was the worst thing about living in the south.

Is this a real non-sarcastic comment? Because if so, holy dumb.... It's his friggin alma mater and is arguably the most storied program in the history of the NCAA. Not much more to say there. To go along with that, Urban Meyer isn't good enough to coach in the SEC? Is that why he faked near death?

Dear Coach Smart:

Thanks for your opinion, we'll be fine without you. I suggest you find another cause to root for.

Quit barking and go to bed.

We are quickly becoming the most disliked team in CFB. not that we were well like to begin with. but this shit is awesome! I love it.. Harbaugh gives no fucks.. all the better when he starts bringing home Natties! Go blue!

Look at the sheer brilliance of the tweet. Brian posted many months ago about the sometimes hidden meanings and subtleties in Harbaugh's tweet (can't find the post right now). "Barking up the wrong tree." The Bulldogs of Georgia = barking. Ann Arbor = trees. Cool.

Kirby's comments were more than a simple statement.  He brought up the whole "Pandora's Box" line of BS, which broadcasts his intent that what Harbaugh is doing is wrong.  But like someone else said, I'd prefer a long rant about hypocrisy rather than individual responses.  But if Harbaugh wants single tweets, let him go...

We're the most hated team in college football. Detroit vs Everybody. I also like that it appears our new team "slogan" is just "winningest" because of the hashtag in the spring break trip photo. That'll piss them off.

Talk about an attitude adjustment in Schembechler Hall. You just know that the guys on the team are loving every moment of this...

BUT, I also see this as a way to let the team know that they are dealing with a whole new set of expectations. Harbaugh keeps raising the bar, stirring shit up and telling the world that he's coming hard at the top but it will ultimately come down to what these guys do on the field to back up their coaches bravado...they had better be ready to step wayyyy up.

My thoughts exactly. Harbaugh is turning this program upside down and trying to bring the college football world with him. But if his teams don't produce top results, you'll be remembered as nothing more than a lunatic that couldn't back up his own bravado.

Time has come for this program to put up or shut up.

The sec coaches are banding together to create a sense of collaborative posterity in the matter. It's laughable but likely will work to have the rules changed.

This whole affair has a 1950's desegregation of the south feel to it. You have the SEC and ACC Commissioners sounding like ole Dixie-Crat Governors who refuse to let the good ol boy strongholds be infiltrated by them Yankees from up North. You have H.S. football doing everything they can to distance themselves to garner favor from local interests.

Will we need the National Guard to come in and secure the facilities during their stay? Damn!!!  We should send copies of Selma to all the SEC coaches so they can guess who they most resemble in this debate. Maybe they will see how foolish they really look and understand they are on the opposite side of what's best for athletes in the south.
