Thanks TampaBayBlue! Are you celebrating Thanksgiving in FL? As someone who has spent his entire life in the Midwest or Northeast, I think the furthest South I've ever been for Thanksgiving is New Jersey. Because I closely associate the holiday with crisp weather the thought of spending it in FL is sort of strange to me. But it's about 30 degrees right now so Florida sounds pretty good right now--enjoy!

I lived in Michigan for 31 yrs and we moved to Jacksonville in September. Its going to be 80 degrees and sunny today. I gotta admit, it feels really weird but I'm not complaining!

It was also strange watching the snow globe game on Saturday when it was 75 here. This will take some getting used to.

How does this get downvoted?  What troll has nothing better to do on Thanksgiving morning but to troll around downvoting innocuous posts?

Even on a holiday morning to be best shared with family, some people have black hearts.  What a sad existance they must lead...

Thanksgiving to that guy, who I suspect is the one who has been going around downvoting all the posbangs. Also his dudeness, who downvoted this thread. No one really knows what's going on in their lives, so I hope they can find some kind of happiness today. (Or downvoting makes them happy- in which case, go for it!). Go Blue!

Employees and police officers and the like have to work today, but I am against all this shopping today! The stores should NOT BE OPEN!!! Let the people be home with their families and/or friends. Really gets my knickers in a twist.

Me too.  As somebody who always had to work on Holidays, give the little guy a fucking break once in a while.  You don't have to scrape every last damn dime off the table.  Leave some scraps for somebody else.

And we wonder why regular people are mad.

Turkey Day. Question for MGoBloggers, do you drink on Thanksgiving? It was always like an almost anti-drinking day in my family, along with Christmas Eve and Christmas. But as I have gotten older and seen more, I have become surprised that is not the norm.

In lovely Pentwater to see my wife's family. Took the wife to see Stevie Nicks in GR last night, massive amounts of food today, then the best football weekend of the year begins tomorrow.
