Bye week for the team, stress free football viewing for the fans.  What plans do you have this weekend and which games are you looking forward to?

I still need to check the schedule. Someone mentioned there are no top-25 vs. top-25 games, but there are always entertaining games every Saturday.

Personally, the interesting games this week are:

My top game is Stanford vs. UCF (personally I hope UCF slaughters Stanford)

Pitt vs. Penn st.

Maryland vs. Temple (this one more so to see how Maryland does against a team w/ a pulse)

Mich st. vs. Ari st. (same reason as the Maryland game)

Florida vs. Kentucky

Bang bang to a bye week! Flying back west after work week in DC. Plan to get out on my bike and enjoy some family time over the weekend. I’m also wearing some maize and blue to illicit a casual “go blue” from fellow travelers today. Enjoy a bangin’ weekend and go blue!

Impromptu 'work' at home day.  I do this too often, but what the hell?  Kid is getting his hair colored up with a hair marker, whatever the hell that is, for wild hair day at school.  Enjoy, kid...  The wife and I might go see It, Chapter Duece.

There is a dive called Bottoms Up about a quarter mile from the Renaissance Festival site.  It's the kind of place where you are little apprehensive to enter the bathroom without an Outbreak suit but they have lots of big TVs, really cold draft beer and some Holly-hot waitresses.  Maybe try to dip out after the joust and make a respectable day of it after all.

The MGoGirlfriend and I love that place, but sometimes, you gotta be willing to play. Last year at the Washing Well Wenches show, I got dragged up on stage by Dottie the Dangerous. She stuck her fingers in my Guinness, wiped some on her neck, and eyed me with a "What are you gonna do now, ya little biscuit?" expression.

The audience was hooting and hollering, and I looked out to the MGoGirlfriend in the audience and yelled "Honey ...?"

"GO FOR IT!" she yelled back.

So I bent Dottie over and gave her my best vampire imitation, to much crowd approval.

Like I said, you gotta be willing to play.

Oh, I don't know. It was pretty funny at the time, and we laughed about it for the rest of the day. A year later we still do.

So I'll always take that over the cost of a beer. I can always buy my own Guinness. I can't always buy that kind of memory.

I don't want some dirty bitches fingers in my Guiness.  Don't touch my Guiness.  I'll cut a bitch for messing with my Guiness.  Guiness is God's nectar - don't fuck with mine.

Besides, did she clean herself off with bleach after the last show when she did the same thing?

Bitch stick her filthy fingers in my Guiness, she gotta go...

I will light a candle and pray for a rapid healing of Shea's muscle strain. (Sorry - I know that's an oblique comment.)

I'll show myself out ...

According to the calendar, it's the first Friday the 13th of the year, MGoBloggers, and that means that it's National Blame Someone Else Day!

So, even if you're at fault, you can blame anyone you want about the points not working on MGoBlog, or the lack of Michigan football this weekend, or the lack of new cover sheets on the TPS reports. You can blow your top at someone else for your own mistakes and, when you do, GO BLUE

Chattanooga at Tennessee - Full implosion maybe on there

New Mexico at Notre Dame - Want to get a good look at the Irish and see what we are store for

Arizona State at Michigan Staee - Spartan fans have gone from calling for the firing of the entire staff to "BIG title fo-sho brah" after a win against Western Michigan, has the potential for a nice Sparty NO moment.

Washington State at Houston - Because it is tonight and my kids will be sleeping

I kind of agree.  It is mostly because Arizona State looks pretty terrible and cannot run the ball against anybody, let alone State.  Who knows though, it is usually when I feel this way about a State game when they get like 6 personal fouls against them in the first half and end up in a game they shouldn't be.
