Great Session by Klatt on Breaking the Huddle!

Gave this a watch and enjoyed Joel's run down with Urban.  Urban breaks down what he saw and Klatt finishes with a nice review of Michigan's power points for the season.

I hate myself for thinking that Urban is the most interesting person to listen to on any of the Saturday morning pre-game shows.

I instinctively turned the channel whenever he was on last year, but after seeing his segments a couple times I found that what he talks about is way better than the fluff and non-sense that make up most of those shows.

Urban is good but Klatt went into way more depth on his own.

Klatt's key takeaway from game 1 is that Michigan is an under the radar contender at #8 due to:

  • Milton has a very high ceiling and is perfect fit for Gattis offense
    • Super arm strength and good accuracy
    • Big body for poise in the pocket and designed QB runs
  • Elite pass rush from the DL and LBs
  • Old school Harbaugh power run game with tone set by Ben Mason

He thinks all three qualities are sustainable during the season and, if so, Michigan is on the rise in his rankings.

Klatt says this may be Harbaugh’s best team.  He really focused on the offense and power running with pulling guards, tackles, and Mason.  Add in a QB that can run and throw and provide RPOs and misdirection and this should be fun to watch.

We shall see 2016 was damn good but in this era you need points on the board.

I keep thinking about how much Ambry and Nico would add to critical needs.

From the thread title I thought Klatt was goi g to discuss the intricacies of how teams actually,  you know, break the huddle.

I'm sometimes dim.
