Go Fund me set up by Brenda Tracy to benefit A2 and Washtenaw county.
Link below to the page. In honor of being the honorary captain for the home opener she has set this up. I have witnessed the kind of movement this blog and it's readers can accomplish.

I think the title is missing that this benefits SafeHouse Center in A2 and Washtenaw County.
SafeHouse Center provides support for those impacted by domestic violence or sexual assault and provides free and confidential services for any person victimized that lives or works in Washtenaw County. Their services include emergency shelter for those in danger of being hurt or killed, counseling, legal advocacy, and support groups.

I figured you could get that in the reading on the go find me page. Sorry.

No need to be snippy about it. Rookie mistake.
As part of the effort to run with more informative titles though, it's probably best to just name the organization in this case.

This is too political for a Michigan blog, and I, as the most rational poster in the history of the MGoBlogosphere, will make my opinion know .

Dude, you gotta let it go man. This is a good thread to benefit good causes. Don't make it about you and your beef with Section1 from the other thread. It takes away from the message, which I think you support.

It’s a message board, just having a laugh. Just a passionate subject for me and I don’t tolerate BS when it comes to this stuff. However, point taken.
September 4th, 2018 at 11:36 PM ^
And now you made it about you.

Just as I said in the other thread, you're getting way too worked up about this. Maybe you should sit this one out, bud.
September 5th, 2018 at 6:37 AM ^
And you should probably sit out threads dealing with sexual assault or rape (or anything traumatizing) unless you recant your victim blaming and do some actual research on the subject.
Heres one example: https://www.npr.org/2018/02/06/583778370/a-false-report-highlights-how-women-who-report-sexual-assault-are-treated

Now you're just making baseless accusations. Please take a couple deep breaths, Champ.
After reading enough of your comments, you're simply not capable of debating arguments without making things personal. This will not get you far in life.

You said there was no excuse for a survivor not to go to the police. That is shaming them and in the end, discourages people from coming forward. I’m just telling you to do some research on the subject before you engage in it because you will do more harm than good with your current attitude toward survivors. Brenda Tracy does great work and you baselessly criticized her for doing a job she loves, and makes a tangible difference in sexual assault and rape prevention. I’m just fine with how I handle debates. You can spare me your tut tutting.

I'm trying to help you get further in life, Boss. It's pretty obvious you're not currently happy with where things stand.
September 5th, 2018 at 10:33 AM ^
I'm not fine with how people talk about, treat and respond to rape and sexual assault (and women or marginalized people in general).
As for my personal life, I don't see how it's relevant to the discussion at hand but without divulging details, I'm doing just fine.
September 5th, 2018 at 10:44 AM ^
No worries, Sport. If you ever want to discuss the things that are bugging you, please don't hesitate.

Known or now?

I have no opinion until Section 1.8 tells us what we should think about this.
Then I'll takethe opposite stance.
