Glasgow "dominating" at Shrine practices.
January 19th, 2016 at 1:15 PM ^
Going against our monster DL had to help. Here's hoping the rest of the OL can dominate without him this year

Isn't steel just fancy iron?
January 19th, 2016 at 1:30 PM ^
Ordinarily, yes, but Glasgow has been alloyed with carbon. So steel is in fact the correct metal in this case.

Lewan was fond of his skills... my bet is that the Titans take him earlier than expected.

Well he was a 5th year senior anyway. He finished his time at Michigan and now can represent the university in the NFL. I really hope he tears it up in the pros. Perhaps as a guard though. I think he was a better fit there than he was at center.
January 19th, 2016 at 1:59 PM ^
He committed as a walk-on to OSU and then changed his mind and showed up in Ann Arbor for fall camp. Smart kid!
January 19th, 2016 at 3:54 PM ^
I hear ya.....BUT anytime a former walk-on dominates a college football all-star game that points to great coaching. That's a great look for UM. Sure we'd love to have him for another year, but me thinks we'll be just fine without him.
January 19th, 2016 at 1:24 PM ^
I might be a little off here but a buddy of mine just informed me that Michigan pulled Swensons offer due to a lack of devolpment. Any truth to this or is he an idiot?
January 19th, 2016 at 1:25 PM ^
Four posts down from this one. All the Swenson you want.

The board, it is trying to tell you something
January 19th, 2016 at 1:26 PM ^
Any word on Glasgow and whether or not he is dominating at Shrine practice?

Do pandas eat bamboo?
January 19th, 2016 at 1:32 PM ^
Yes, It's about 99% of their diet.

That was a pretty low koality joke...
January 19th, 2016 at 2:19 PM ^
Can I get one of those below?
January 19th, 2016 at 2:18 PM ^
Actually, baby koalas lick their mother's butthole until she has explosive diarrhea. Then they eat the diarrhea. This isn't a joke.

Eats, shoots and leaves.

Doesn't surprise me. He was playing great by the end of the year.
January 19th, 2016 at 1:35 PM ^
Rudock and Bolden are there too in the highlights.
Hard to tell, but to my untrained eye looks like Rudock may have thrown 2 balls in the dirt or a bit off.
They should have mentioned Glasgow's a former walk-on
January 19th, 2016 at 2:18 PM ^
Don't get too excited about any of the Michigan players in the game (Rudock, Bolden, and Glasgow). They are being coached up by none other than Charlie Weis. He will ruin all of them with his schematic advantage. They don't stand a chance.
January 19th, 2016 at 1:35 PM ^
Surprised he's practicing at center and not guard.
January 19th, 2016 at 1:43 PM ^
Probably a good thing for him. Showing his skills at center just shrinks the pool of guys that can compete with him. Even if he doesn't ultimately end up there, it helps his stock to show that he can.
January 19th, 2016 at 1:47 PM ^
Especially if he's picked as a backup OL - versatility is key. Glasgow could show that he could play any of the 3 interior spots, which is a great way to make the 53 man and then gameday roster
January 19th, 2016 at 1:42 PM ^
One of the tweets with some nice compliments...
C Graham Glasgow (Michigan) was the most impresive OL today for the East Team. Great size, strong at point of attack, gets to 2nd level.

Multiple outlets singled him out as a top performer so far so it's not just one or two guys with that opinion.
January 19th, 2016 at 1:50 PM ^
The first time I saw Graham give a snap at Center, in his first game under Hoke...I knew that guy was gonna be good. You could just see that he had so much potential and size. He got better and better, and IMO is going to have a long NFL career.
January 19th, 2016 at 1:51 PM ^
I'm a big fan of the Glasgow's and I hope Graham tears it up and improves his draft stock.
I have a good feeling his brother Ryan will be drafted as well next year.
January 19th, 2016 at 2:13 PM ^
and the third brother - Jordan - will grow into a kick-ass Fullback

... when people also say this, I have to wonder.
He's not the best athlete by a long shot but Michigan LB Joe Bolden is handily the smartest, most instinctive LB on the East #shrinegame

If I am not mistaken he and his brothers are/were walk ons? Excellent job! On the doorsteps of a potential NFL career. Gotta love the underdogs!! Good job Sir

But at least partially because their parents are pretty wealthy. They're rocket surgeons or something.
January 19th, 2016 at 2:18 PM ^
We might end up with two early round draft picks.
January 19th, 2016 at 2:19 PM ^
Glasgow listed in top 100 prospects here. FWIW:

They think we don't realize they are finally discovering what Harbaugh has said all along. If Jim Harbaugh thinks Graham Glasgow is first or second round material, then by God Graham Glasgow is first or second round material.
It's not every day a 6'6, 310 pound (three year starter) who can play Center, Guard, or Tackle is in the draft. There are very few guys who are big enough, fast enough, and smart enough to play all three. Glasgow happens to be one of those guys. I really can't see him lasting past the second round.
January 19th, 2016 at 2:38 PM ^
said he's likely a 4th round pick and could climb into 3rd round. They also said, there is a reason why NFL or college coaches aren't involved in personnel department. They tend to overrate certain players.
I've talked to one of them who were at the Shrine Bowl practice and said the same thing. He has been one of the top performer in the Shrine Bowl practices. He should get a good look at 3rd/4th round range.
