Speed. Space.
September 28th, 2019 at 9:08 AM ^
Don't worry. Our players are smarter.
September 27th, 2019 at 9:25 PM ^
Terps looking like reheated oatmeal
September 27th, 2019 at 9:27 PM ^
Well unfortunately Penn State is going to smoke us by 40+
September 27th, 2019 at 9:37 PM ^
Depends on how we respond to adversity. PSU is no better talent wise to UM.
September 27th, 2019 at 9:41 PM ^
Unfortunately 4 and a quarter seasons of data suggest we collapse like a house of cards in big games, even moreso when they’re on the road.
September 27th, 2019 at 9:45 PM ^
White out against this version of PSU ? Big challenge for sure.
September 27th, 2019 at 9:49 PM ^
but we can't win on the road against decent teams- so yeah its over
September 27th, 2019 at 9:38 PM ^
November 2nd, first one to 10 settles the Gattis vs Locksley debate
September 27th, 2019 at 10:18 PM ^
First one to 10 there sounds like that old TV commercial for Tootsie Pops ... an answer the world may never know.
September 27th, 2019 at 9:42 PM ^
Penn St. Is doing everything Gattis said M was gonna do, and they look scary good on offense
September 27th, 2019 at 10:06 PM ^
Maryland literally gifted them 3 touchdowns...
September 27th, 2019 at 9:42 PM ^
Maryland is getting Badgered.
September 27th, 2019 at 9:47 PM ^
Same as Va Tech. I don't think Fuente's going to be there much longer.
September 27th, 2019 at 9:43 PM ^
Looks like Michigan's gonna have to prepare to stop Clifford on the ground and in the air.
Didn't realize he was as mobile as he is.
September 27th, 2019 at 9:46 PM ^
Yikes....you know Franklin is going to be out for blood against us.
Unless we see massive improvements that game could be out of hand by halftime.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:06 PM ^
And he won't quit at the half like Chryst did. Franklin would score 80 if he could.
September 27th, 2019 at 9:51 PM ^
I'm gonna be honest.
I really don't understand why Michigan can't spread out teams offensively like Penn St is tonight.
September 27th, 2019 at 9:53 PM ^
First thing that came to mind is our QB ignores half of the field on every play.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:12 PM ^
Unfortunately true.
But I didn't know Clifford was as good as he looks tonight
September 27th, 2019 at 9:57 PM ^
Shea has happy feet, so the plays can't develop.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:11 PM ^
No argument there.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:04 PM ^
How about the up tempo they ran at the end of the first half. That was a thing of beauty. Where has that been for us?
September 27th, 2019 at 10:11 PM ^
Made it look so easy.
?
September 27th, 2019 at 9:53 PM ^
Though I will say Penn State didn’t look great after Pitt and seem to have figured something out based on that half, so, maybe?
Ugh.
September 27th, 2019 at 9:56 PM ^
The ACC is hot garbage. It's Clemson and everyone else. Duke, Wake and UVA are the next best teams. That's embarrassing! Where are Miami and FSU? Michigan was a dumpster fire last week, but Harbaugh has the program in a better spot than these other programs that are in the middle of the richest recruiting territory in the USA and they have lower academic standards compared to Michigan. I'm not excusing last weekend, but it could be worse.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:04 PM ^
Well holy shit. The B1G doesn’t look as wimpy as thought prior to the season. Wisconsin, PSU, OSU.....
September 27th, 2019 at 10:04 PM ^
If Mike Locksley punches James Franklin at the mid-field handshake then it's all been worth it
September 27th, 2019 at 10:09 PM ^
This made me laugh out loud +1
September 27th, 2019 at 10:57 PM ^
It was a joke, but I wonder if Franklin isn't doing his usual run-up-the-score-in-the-4th-quarter because he's literally afraid of Locksley.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:05 PM ^
So....is Gattis more influenced by the PSU scheme or the Maryland scheme tonight? One could be called #speedinspace while the other going over as well as a #turdinthepunchbowl.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:05 PM ^
I hate watching games like this for PSU. Just makes me scream internally, "WHY CAN'T WE HAS THE NICE THINGS?!"
September 27th, 2019 at 10:08 PM ^
Well, we did has a nice thing vs Penn State last year.
I should have stopped watching football after that game.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:32 PM ^
Franklin will do his best to embarrass UM and Harbaugh this year. If their offense is clicking, it could be a rough day.
September 27th, 2019 at 11:41 PM ^
Yeah, we've been trading yearly blows with MSU, PSU and Wisconsin. It'd be nice to win two years in a row against any of those teams.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:10 PM ^
Wow, Syracuse must be really bad.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:14 PM ^
So here we are with recruited talent that utterly eclipses Duke and I would say Duke -7 right now vs Harbaugh.
Just looking for him to do something anything clever. At all.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:14 PM ^
Anybody else see FS1 just almost live broadcast a crowd fight?
?
September 27th, 2019 at 10:14 PM ^
Anyone else sick to death of cutting to the "replay expert" during every stinking review?
Please oh wizard of smart, please splain us how them fancy rulez work again...
Also, by now every dummy like me knows the difference between "call confirmed" and "stands as called". You don't need to tell me all about it every time.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:16 PM ^
If the replay expert could've overturned the Ronnie Bell overturned catch I would've been all for it.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:15 PM ^
It seems like any rational person's take from that game would be how awful Maryland actually are...and instead it's a bunch of Michigan fans shitting themselves about the game against PSU in 3 weeks. Too many Michigan fans are soft neurotic pussies.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:21 PM ^
Well...
Facts say we cannot beat top ten teams and when we play such teams on the road we get BLOWN OUT.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:58 PM ^
Yep scared shitless of an offense that put up 17 on 1-2 Pitt. Maryland looks bad. This is not a measuring stick game. We will see what PSU is made of in 2 weeks in Kinnick.
September 28th, 2019 at 12:53 AM ^
Have you bothered watching the 2019 Michigan Wolverines?!?
We’re poor on: offense, defense
pretty good on: punting
there’s a reason people are concerned about psu, Norte dame and osu.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:17 PM ^
Anyone park at the Westminster Presbyterian church semi-regularly?? Wondering what time we should try to be there tomorrow to make sure we have a parking spot. We parked there last year for SMU and it worked out really well with getting out and back to where we were going. But that was the first time we had parked there. Any ideas on a noon game what time we should plan to try and get there?? Thanks for any help
September 28th, 2019 at 7:58 AM ^
For a game like today there should be no problem parking there. Have never not had a spot in the 10 years I have been parking there.
(Don’t tell anyone else about this spot)
September 27th, 2019 at 10:18 PM ^
The sad thing is that as good as KJ Hamler looks in this game, would any NFL team take him over Nico, DPJ, or Tarik??? No. So wtf.
September 27th, 2019 at 10:20 PM ^
The intensity the PSU had to open the game was impressive. They came out wanting destroy Maryland and let them know it
Props to Maryland for not folding under adversity unlike some others. They just aren't very good.
We have a good chance to beat Maryland, Rutgers and Illinois. Beyond that, it doesn't look good.
If Michigan gets its offense rolling, then MSU is beatable..
September 27th, 2019 at 10:48 PM ^
Unfortunately, MSU defense or at least the front 7 are legit. They are full of NFL players especially at DL. It's basically first to double digit points are going to win this game.
September 27th, 2019 at 11:15 PM ^
IF Michigan finds some magic and pulls its shit together then there shouldn't be a team on the remainder of the schedule this season that can beat us, outside of OSU. But we need some David Copperfield Doug Henning kind of magic to do it.
EDIT - on second thought, screw the magic bit, we actually need an exorcism.
