Friday Night Game/Drinking Thread

What are you watching and/or drinking to help pass the time until The Game? I am flipping between the basketball game, the Wings, and TCU v Baylor, while sipping on some Canadian Club.

w/ all others finishing w/ two losses.

Still, since the B12 was left out last year, I think politics would lead the committee to give a hypothetical last spot to the one loss B12 Okie St over two loss B1G Champ Michigan.  But I could be wrong, so there's only upside to us in a TCU win.

If Oklahoma wins tomorrow, this game won't matter.  There's NO WAY a one-loss #2 B12 Baylor gets in over the B1G champ.  (Oklahoma would obviously be in before us as the B12 champ.)  There is zero inter-league evidence in support of allocating two spots to the B12 and zero the the B1G.

Fortunately, there are other combinations that would get us in should we win the B1G.

What's your opinion on the politics?

In other news, my Little Brown Jug tree ornament arrived in the mail today and I must say it really brings the room together.  I would highly recommend it.

I ran through the house with the mini jug hoisted over my head in victory.  My wife thinks I am insane.

The longer I stay awake, the better chance I have of sleeping when I do finally go to bed.

I should NyQuil myself like mom used to do me on Christmas Eve! Yeah, that sounds like a good idea!

(kids, I'm joking!)

This game is so frustrating for a B1G fan...

They're now to the point where these coaches don't know how to coach in shitty weather or a more B1G style game.

3rd and 10, a FG could win it and you throw the ball with a WR playing as your #3 QB?

That's the kind of stuff that drives me nuts. Basic stuff.

Unfortunately we have some B1G coaches who are over the top...shit Ferentz would've kicked the FG on 1st down as soon as he got into the red zone.

some friends are in from Chicago, we went to Dominick's for the last time this year, then we went to Sava's. If anybody remembers there was an article in the Ann Arbor News in 2010 about the best drinks in Ann Arbor and there was a one from Sava's called the Churango, it hasn't been on the menu for prob 3-4 years but they remembered how to make it: http://www.annarbor.com/entertainment/food-drink/with-poll-and-slidesho…

That game weather is miserable, reminds of the scene in Caddyshack,

I'd keep playing. I don't think the heavy stuff's gonna come down for quite awhile.

This is why one of the rotating semi's should be at Soldier Field or Lambeau. These southern schools don't even know what to do in crappy weather. Would be hilarious to see Iowa running it up on Baylor in a blizzard in Green Bay

So Baylor is out, so the winner of Bedlam wins the Big 12, right?

Baylor did this to themselves. Running Russell on a QB draw in the 4th quarter of a game that was over. That's why they're here
