Bells Octoberfest is surprisingly good. For those who shy away from Autumn beers, give this one a try. It's lighter bodied with clean finish to it. I could drink it year round.

Wow so after I made this thread (wife gone so I can watch football in peace!) I go to the fridge and apparently her & her gf drank the rest of the beer last night.  Liquor cabinet is locked and I don't know where the key is.

I love Little Caesars every now and then. For $5, it is worth it. Grab a few beers and throw some seasoning on the pizza and you are good to go.

Think it is one of the most underrated products and concepts in the country. If you know where the goods are it is pretty good pizza. And nobody has been able to duplicate the concept with the execution and staying power like LC. And they have not upped the price like subway and $5 foot longs. Hot and Readys are awesome.

Yup. Totally agree. Their crazy bread is great, too. For the price, you cannot beat LC. Is it the best pizza around? Hell no...not even close. I live in Manhattan right now and NY is known for great pizza, but I have gotten LC pizza when visiting some friends in Ohio.

My home remedy is definitely green tea with honey. I also like to drink some hot chocolate. If you have a sore throat, those are two great options. They temporarily coat your throat from the soreness. And yeah, also as you mentioned, early bed, especially with a long day of football tomorrow. I love going to bed early when sick. Not only does it help me, but I don't feel shitty when sleeping.

Going to bed for some legit tired-sober sleep is one of the best feeling in the world. Where you can actually feel yourself suspended in that "almost sleeping" haze for a while. I am going to sleep the shit out of some shit tonight!

So am I. I try to go to bed at a decent hour on Friday nights this time of year simply so I can stay awake all day and night the following Saturday. I like to watch college football coverage from 9AM until whenever it stops early Sunday morning, which is usually around 2AM.
