We’ve got 3 very good veteran players back this year, guys a new coach can lean on. I think people underestimate how big this is. Maybe I’m just a slappy but I think it’s going to be a good season.

Matthews was not very good. Average at best given he was a great defender. But below average on offense.

That's just wrong. How many NCAA players are even under consideration for being drafted each year? Maybe 70? And by all accounts, he was on course to be drafted until his injury so that moves him up to around top 50.
Yes, I guess a top 50-70 college player is not very good - logic seems sound

I hope so too.. It depends on several factors.
1. Can Howard work with Teske to develop a post-up game for him?
2. Can we get the other bigs, especially Castleton and Johns to take big steps forward?
3. Can we find a way to plug the void at the 2 left by Poole bolting?
4. Can the 3 guards (Simpson, Brooks, and DDJ) collectively drain enough 3's?

With a base of Simpson, Teske and Livers, this better not be a challenging year. Unless you mean challenging to finish top 2 in the Big Ten - then yeah.
This team should be a lock for the NCAA's unless Howards new offense is gutter trash.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but I think it would be great if the whiny-azz biotches just coiled it back into their drawers and enjoyed this one. We have no idea how the breaks are going to cut for the team but if we truly give a crap about the game, the people, about Michigan building something it can be proud of--about something more than the Ws and Ls and whether an L means they are losers at life and should kill themselves--we should be in excellent shape.

The Teske put back dunk about halfway through that would be nice to see all season. I'm really excited to see the team this year, growing pains and all, I think they are going to be fun to watch.

What a huge recruit for Coach Howard and Michigan, especially with Iggy and Poole leaving early. Appreciate him making the choice to be a Michigan man, and will be great to see him play this Fall.

It's awesome that he has a German-African-American accent.
Cool story bro: I had a friend who lived in Japan for a few years, but when he first learned Japanese he hung out with women and I guess women speak Japanese differently than men and he ended up with a Japanese female accent whatever that is.
