known as 'chores', situated between coffee and alcohol. Looking forward to the latter, to be consumed on the front porch.
I think states and local jurisdictions (like counties, at least in Maryland) control the distribution. That may be why it's tough to get a certain thing. That said, holding out for Yuengling is like waiting with bated breath for Bud Light. I live in suburban DC area and I can't easily get Bell's but Yuengling is plentiful, blech.

Make this for guests, and you'll be known as Chef Boyardee ...
Colonel’s Barbeque
Ingredients Alternative Recipe
· 1/4 cup soy sauce ¼ cup soy sauce
· 3 tablespoons honey 3 Tablespoons honey
· 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar 2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
· 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1 ½ Teaspoon Ground Ginger
· 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1 ½ Teaspoons Garlic Salt
· 1/2 cup vegetable oil ½ cup vegetable oil
· 1 ½ - 2 pounds flank steak 1 ¾ - 2 lbs Flank Steak
Directions
- In a blender, combine the soy sauce, honey, vinegar, ginger, garlic powder/salt, and vegetable oil.
- Lay steak in a shallow glass or ceramic dish. Pierce both sides of the steak with a sharp fork. Pour marinade over steak, then turn and coat the other side. Cover, and refrigerate 8 hours, overnight, or for 24 hours.
- Preheat grill for high heat.
- Place grate on highest level, and brush lightly with oil. Place steaks on the grill, and discard marinade – or pour on the steak to create a smoky flavor. Grill steak with the lid down for 10 minutes (5 min each side turning once) or to desired doneness. Cooking for 5 min each side will produce medium cooked steak on the ends, and medium-rare in the middle.
- Cut meat into 1/4-3/8 inch strips.
Anyone got a recipe for a good dry rub?

Vegetarian here, meat breath.
like that, so kudos to you. i hope you keep off of all the T-2 diabetes drugs.
we farm, and i'm with you on healthy food. we raise/process all of our own beef, lamb, chicken, corn/wheat, dairy and eggs, grass feed our livestock, and we don't have pesticides, herbicides, vaccines, etc. on the farm. that said, you might unfortunately be surprised what they do to all of your veggies. keep the faith and don't forget to have some animal protein - lean meat, no drugs (for the livestock), in moderation is ideal for most folks' health.
and always regularly exercise.
Vodka and orange juice. Lots of it this afternoon. A sentimental favorite. First thing I ever got drunk on. While camping on the Muskegon River when I was 9.

I would foil that sucker for the last couple hours. I've done a few briskets over the years and foiling it seems to keep it juicy. The last one I didn't foil turned out like a football. Here's a mop sauce recipe to that I just love with brisket and pork-butt:
1 cup distilled vinegar
1 cup beer
1 tbs garlic salt,
1tbs brown sugar
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp black pepper
