Football team to wear alternate uniforms at least once this year, per Harbaugh
Well, let's be frank: we wear those uniforms in every home game, and have with only a couple of exceptions for 79 years.
The roads with shoulder block M would be sweet.
Having a 20-year old Charles Woodson starting at CB would be even sweeter.
I'm cool with a "throwback classic" type of uniform, though it's hard to do much distinctive with how classic the uniforms have remained.
I'm rooting for throwback 80s road jerseys (perhaps the details are modified or jazzed up) with maize pants. Worn somewhere on the road.
I'm so glad shoulder pads have greatly shrunk in size. Those awful bulky pads are, well, awful.
never played a down of real football, in real football equipment maybe ever.
love the big pads.. they dont weigh anymore and you dont feel so constricted.
and i would hazard a guess that i played a lot more/longer than most, including the guy who posted above you. in fact, the 'new' pads came out about the time i finally stopped playing.
Maize and Blue reversed on the helmets.
I wonder if it'll be a throwback
We were the last one against Alabama, but I don't know if that was a random thing or not.
We are almost always the road team in bowl games, so it's time for us to be the damn home team for once in one of these things.
I do want to see the all blues again. But nothing funky with the numbers. Just the current blue jerseys with matching blue pants.
That said, as long as we win, I won't really care what they're wearing.
To me, matching tops and bottoms look like pyjamas. It's not so bad when white or black, but bad when any other color.
UTL jerseys without the shoulder stripes would be cool.
How about for the OSU game we wear scarlet and grey jock straps?
