You can't play with energy on only one end of the floor and quite honestly that ball movement you speak of literally ceases the last 5 min of any close game like clockwork. There is zero chance this team finishes that high in the Big Ten when they are incapable of holding any decent offense to a reasonable percentage and are also incapable of closing any close game. They are just an fundamentally unsound team and that always falls on a coaching staff. You are in dreamland. It's over, this is late stage Hoke, just in basketball.

It's funny you get called out in here for trolling and banned if u even remotely bring up possible Harbaugh replacements should he leave. Juwan though it's ok. Pathetic

Honestly feels like we are cursed at this point in close games. This game reminded me a lot of the Illinois game at the end of last year. We have a somewhat incredible comeback to take it to OT, blow the game when it is in our hands in the first OT, and lose in the second OT.

I’m not enough of an expert on the game to say this is all on Juwan because of his strategies to end games. Seems like a lot of tough luck, and players might tighten up given this same scenario keeps going wrong every time. It’s frustrating to say the least.

I think it’s overreacting to say the program is a complete dumpster fire. We are comically bad at closing out games, but are still competing with most good teams we play.

That being said, I still think if we can find a way to mutually part ways with Juwan at the end of the season it’s going to be best for both parties. Juwan is a Michigan legend, and was a childhood hero of mine. It’s just not working out with him at head coach. More than not being able to close out games, issues with his temperament will probably eventually lead to his demise if we are being honest. Find a way to gut through the season, pick up some memorable wins, and mutually part ways is the ideal outcome at this point.

They wasted some absolutely brilliant moments (slam back to tie, forced jump ball) with some absolutely stupid moments (not fouling, leaving wide open 3, Burnett trying to win with an unnecessary 3).

Juwan clearly doesn’t trust his bench. All 5 starters played 40+ minutes, and only played 3 off the bench.

also, 9 total assists. That means they played alot of isolation and were not moving the ball to find the open guy.  Your PG (dmd) should not have more rebounds than assists.  He either doesn’t trust those around him or is only focused on scoring.

it’s only December but if how they played last night is indicative of performance moving forward they’re a NIT team at best.
