I disagree. Former players, notable alumni and donors (i.e. those opinions that actually matter, unlike most of ours) seem to more or less be in support of Hoke, despite the on-the-field results. Any anti-Hoke sentiment is only a good thing at this point, until he is fired.

I heard that because of personal respect for Hoke, his eval may come after the football banquet next weekend. I hope this is wrong. I'm looking forward to a USC-Kiffen-esque "get off the bus" firing

Touchy are we? What ppl don't realize is that coaching is a job. If I'm a nice person but barely perform subpar in my job (any job) I am let go and no one cares if I'm nice. Either you can perform well in all aspects of a job or you aren't meant to be there. If you want lower standards then root for a team that's fight song says "the followers and the mediocre"

I don't think too many people can/will argue that Hoke should be retained. The point is that, people are attacking his personal character, when all he did was try his best to make this team work. Say what you will about his coaching, but leave the personal insults out. I'll put money on it that Hoke is a far better human being, than you, I or anybody here. And I'm sure if you were fired people wouldn't be chasing you out of the building, telling you what a worthless hack you are and attacking your character.

This team is so god damn soft. The bucks lose their starting quarterback and still outplay us and play with more energy. Can't wait for the press conference. Thank you for nothing Hoke.

No QB worth talking about on the roster, ditto for RB's with the possible exception of Isaac.....next year is not going to be good.

This coaching staff is a fucking unmitigated disaster.  Hoke should be fired as he walks off the field along with the entire coaching staff, including Fred Jackson.

You must not have been watching much. The running game has actually been pretty good since the Oline figure that part out, and we haven't seen any of the QBs except a minimal sample size with a shitty pas blocking oline from Morris. The coach has to go, but it's certainly not because of recruiting.

You must be kidding.  The O-line is coming around and should be quite good next year.  Isaac and Green are both good -- Isaac probably very good.  Lots of receiver talent to work with, and Harris should be back -- the highest rated UM receiver recruit ever before he got injured.  Most of the defense is back, and Peppers will join the squad full bore.  The D-line has Willie Henry, Mone, and lots of supporting talent.  Ben Gedeon is a stud.  With outstanding coaching, we give them quite a game next year.  I told by teenage sons today that we are booking a trip to Ann Arbor for the game if Harbaugh or Miles is named as coach.
