Fire Harbaugh!!
So last spring people were calling for the firing of Bakich to get the baseball team turned around. A few years ago we wanted Beilein fired cause his teams were slacking. Well, today, I want to fire Harbaugh so we can get back to beating Ohio State. It worked for the other two coaches, let's hope it helps our team today.

First, you missed the context around both of those coaches.
Second, you misused a perfectly good word (that too many misuse everyday). The word 'cause' is a valid word that stands on its own. It is not an abbreviation of the word 'because' - the two are completely different in meaning. Using it incorrectly, as you did, makes you look like an uneducated cooler pooper.
