My shitty ass nasal passages make owning a pet a poor decision.

Maybe I need a CJ Baird type pet to break my awful streak with house pets

Animals are made for eating.  Just have a bunch of kids if you want pets. They even play with each other when you don't want to because your team just committed seppuku.

I've heard wolverines make good housepets.

I have a dog, but I'm too stupid to embed photos.

Coincidentally, I do have a wolverine as a pet and I taught it how to play basketball. It is an awesome, strong and amazing pet; deadly from behind the arc. Last night, a mystical being put a spell on it around 10:00pm and somehow turned it into a pig. All it wanted to do after that was roll around in slop. I've spent all night for some reason trying to put lipstick on it, but it just won't work.

I've been told that this spell wears off fairly quickly, however, if anyone knows any fairies, genies or magicians that can help me turn it back into a wolverine as soon as possible, I'd greatly appreciate it.

“Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.”

you've got one smart dog there EYB.  one of my all time favorite quotes.

It is regrouping and rebuilding time. Many will be back for next season and hopefully, they all will get better and avenge their losses next season.

Bitter ending but still, did the team did a whole lot better than many thought it would this year, imo.

My dog re-enacted on my cat what TCU did to Michigan last night.

I know many partisans are holding on to this "coming back" thing. But if you were Matthews, Poole, Iggy or even Livers why would you? I guarantee you that these young men hold very different perspectives-from the partisans. That the folks sitting on the couch drinking beer and snarfing down bags of potato chips believe their skill assessments are accurate let alone pertinent are most amazing.

Harry, my cat of 13 years, who I just lost last month. A Maine Coon mix, strong advocate of the 4:00 am breakfast, terrorizer of chipmunks, and a firm believer that you can never have too many naps.

I really miss him.

Thanks, he really was (inside and out.) All the nurses at the vet's office thought so too. Whenever I took him in, the word would spread that "Harry's here!," and they'd cluster around him like Elvis just entered the building. He was a shy boy, but as he got older he soaked up feminine attention like a freakin' sponge.

If they'd let me take him into bars, he would have made a fantastic wingman.

I have 2 Great Danes, Layla and Denali.  They have spring fever because the snow finally melted. Here they are in all their craziness. Layla is 150 pounds, Denali is about 175 pounds. They are mostly couch potatoes but when they play, they are maniacs:
