Feel-good Story of the Day: A Young Michigan Fan/Basketball Player & the Firefighters Who Got Her to the Game on Time
ABC News this evening ended with a fun story of a California youngster who was riding to her basketball game w/her parents when they involved in a minor traffic accident. With the help of firefighters who arrived on the scene, "Abby" arrived on time to star that day in their tournament victory. As it turns out, she's a Michigan fan:

we played the Orange County firefighters in one of our NPSFL games in June one year, right next door to where that happened. It was hot. Way hot.
