Favorite Moments of the Celebration today?

The beginning was dull (as to be expected). The team speeches were great (esp. Jenkins), but watching Harbaugh do an extended riff on Shakespeare (without looking down to his notes) was next level.

Favorite moment was JJ tossing the crystal football coaches trophy to Sanristil behind Jansen's back. Reminiscent of Brady's toss of the trophy to Gronk during their parade.

When JJ lateraled the $30k crystal trophy that takes three months to make to Mikey.  After catching it, Mikey put it back, but perhaps not correctly. The trophy dude got up, walked behind Jansen and put it back correctly.  I don’t know if that was on TV, but it happened!

BTN preempted start of Notre Dame @ tOSU Hockey game to show celebration, so any buckeyes that tuned in for beginning of hockey game got to see MICHIGAN celebrate National Championship.

I thought the players’ speeches were all great, and wherever they go and whatever they do this group will be fantastic diplomats for the university and this program.

But Henry V was unique in my memory of sports celebrations.  I’ve never seen anything like it—I found it inspired, and fitting, and thought its from-the-heart sincerity was moving.  It was also something only Harbaugh could pull off.

My favorite part was the fact that I was on camera quite a bit. Was sitting directly behind the podium in the first row above the Maize Rage. You could see me and my wife and son next to Jansen’s head when he was at the podium. Likewise any other taller speaker.

It was all amazing.

Such a glorious season, but now the reality of all these amazing young men moving on has started to settl in.

I am so happy for them and their accomplishment and for the university, but the sadness of never getting to see many of these guys play again in the Maize and Blue is starting to sting.

Life moves forward and time waits for no man, and the memories and legacy are incredible and last a lifetime...but I will miss them.

My favorite experience was yelling at Devon to shut the F up with along with his cohost; then, finally Coach. No other coach anywhere is quoting Shakespeare. No one. This is the Michigan Difference, I am going to be arrogant. I don't care. Mike Leach was the closest guy I can think of to our Coach. I am okay with that. And our team. All our players, God How Proud I am of them. They are all polished speakers, You know why? Because they are leaders. Leaders know how to talk off the cuff, because it is natural. Team 144, Business is Finished. Great things to come from these men. Go Blue!

Funny one: Would have liked a heads-up on the confetti cannon, we were sitting not far from one of them and just about our entire row flew a foot out of our seats. That thing was loud.

Also, was Warde low-key slipping in the implication that (ahem) other programs turned Michigan in the first time we've heard someone from the university flat-out say the quiet part out loud?

I was reminded of this scene from Renaissance Man ...

Also, Harbaugh has recited it before ...
