Other than being a terrible post... if this is accurate, it'll be the first time I'm legit scared about our secondary under Harbaugh.

I'm going to take a different path in thinking about this... The corners look bad simply because the WR's they're practicing against are too good to cover. Zordich is desperate to find someone, anyone, that can stay with the receivers, and it's making his group look bad.
Don Brown will have a top 10-15 defense, even if the corners are suspect. If Michigan's offense can finally match that type of ranking/capability, good things can happen...

Until white smoke emerges from Schembechler Hall, the starting line up and depth chart won't be decided.

Don Brown isn’t running “Quarters” anymore. It’s a new defense called, “Squares.” It has 4 corners.

Come on guys! We were all terrified about the secondary in 2017 when Zordich came out and specifically told us they were all awful two weeks before kick off. We ended up is Hill and Long. Maybe this isnt the worst news in the world.

Those guys were both like 4.5 star talent though, right? And it was clearly just verbal motivation. This is...different. Very different.
Actions speak louder than words and the desperation with which they tried to get Ambry to come back and then having to move a safety two weeks before opening day is...not a good sign.

I won't be happy with the secondary until Zordich comes out and tells us they all suck.

Unless its cask proof, then I prefer a cube or two.

Michigan's corners this year our weak, lets face it. If we don't get pressure we are in trouble especially against teams that can go 4 or 5 wide. Vincent Gray might have improved some, but to me he is no better than a Brandon Watson. He's not a ball hawk at all, in fact a few times he has failed to turn and look for the ball. Sure Hawkins and Hill will help over the top, but you can't put these guys on islands. Even the best corner Michigsn has ever had in Charles Woodson, got beat occasionally as a freshman. None of these guys have anywhere near the skill Charles had. If teams like Minnesota, PSU, Indiana, and obviously OSU spread Michigan out, then you lose having the luxury of Daxton helping over the top. My guess is those teams will spread Michigan out and continue to attack whoever our No.2 corner is, and possibly attack Grey as well.

its almost like you're there, watching them practice....
