PSU Auburn game is not as much fun as I thought it would be. It seems too much stoppage is messing with the flow.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:00 PM ^
Utah 10, SDSU 10 at halftime. Teams are a combined 1 for 16 on third down, and neither has 100 yards total offense. Utah ran a punt back 80 yards for their score, SDSU returned a kickoff 100.

Oh, lol, this is where everyone is. I'm still commenting on afternoon games, lol. Enjoying watching 37 year old Sean Clifford play with some college kids.

Crap, he found us.

35-7
getting a little ugly for Central:

Is it me, or does the whiteout just feel tame after last week?
September 18th, 2021 at 9:11 PM ^
Their whiteout in 2019 vs Michigan was way more intense.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:15 PM ^
I've always felt that Penn State is the lamest, most semi-pro basketball atmosphere in college sports. I hate them.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:35 PM ^
It's not more "intense" than playing at t(tm)OSU or even Sparty IMO.
I attended in 2015 as a Temple alum (when TU was victorious btw.) along with 2-3k others. Their fans are front runners.

Lol #12
September 18th, 2021 at 9:11 PM ^
That’s going to haunt the PSU defender
September 18th, 2021 at 9:14 PM ^
Makes sense that that throw was on the heels of the Aflac question. Quack
September 18th, 2021 at 9:14 PM ^
Clifford’s hurt
September 18th, 2021 at 9:30 PM ^
Yeah, he got rocked at the end of the half.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:16 PM ^
So why wouldn't you take 2 timeouts at the end of the half and make Auburn take 2 more knees against their goal line?
Is it possible that Franklin has a flaw as a coach?
September 18th, 2021 at 9:20 PM ^
I half expected him to call the timeout when Auburn was halfway down the tunnel and there were still two seconds on the clock.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:21 PM ^
Is UTAH bad this year? Man, they make some mistake every play
September 18th, 2021 at 9:26 PM ^
No they are not worse, OSU was literally not called for anything in that game. Numerous uncalled holds and PI's including straight up tackling UM receivers before the ball was there.
Edit: Whoops, meant to be a response to a earlier comment saying these PSU officials are worse than 2016 UM and OSU.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:29 PM ^
Wondered what was that about. LOL. Need no context to bitch about OSU game refs.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:31 PM ^
Oregon is only up 17-7 against powerhouse Stony Brook University at half. Yikes.

September 18th, 2021 at 9:33 PM ^
I think Auburn is going to run more.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:34 PM ^
We were wondering where the refs in the PSU-Auburn game were from. They're SEC refs according to ESPN.

I’m not buying the 13th white out. It’s way more than that.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:40 PM ^
It feels like they do this every other home game.
September 18th, 2021 at 11:36 PM ^
My guess is that they do some crap like declare a game to 'officially' be a white-out, but really, everyone just wears white to every night game.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:38 PM ^
Lovely start to the 2nd half for Auburn
September 18th, 2021 at 9:38 PM ^
That sideline reporters in PSU game needs a different wardrobe. LOL
September 18th, 2021 at 9:38 PM ^
Odd time for a trick play and it ends in a fumble.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:44 PM ^
I don't know why some coaches try to get fancy in tough games.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:39 PM ^
When the rankings come out tomorrow, Clemson better fall from #6. You can’t beat Georgia Tech 14-8 and stay that high.
Likewise, Minnesota beat the living tar out out of Colorado today, while last week Texas A&M had to score with two minutes left in the game to avoid losing to Colorado 7-3. A&M has no business staying #7.
Ohio State will get credit for a “lopsided” victory even though it was anything but.

Dotson is a handful
September 18th, 2021 at 9:41 PM ^
Big turning point for PSU tough to come back against that defense.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:43 PM ^
Of course I bet on ole miss/Tulane and it's delayed by weather for almost 2 hours
September 18th, 2021 at 9:43 PM ^
Would love for Tulane to take the SEC down a peg
September 18th, 2021 at 9:50 PM ^
I would too. It's finally underway!
September 18th, 2021 at 9:49 PM ^
Seems like PSU gives up some runs
September 18th, 2021 at 9:54 PM ^
Great drive by Auburn. Down the throat. Harbaugh style
September 18th, 2021 at 9:56 PM ^
No reason to stop doing it. They have 2, not jut 1, great RB. They will wear Penn St down by doing the run--if they stick with it. Maybe they got some new Houdini disaster play to run again.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:54 PM ^
Auburn just Michiganed the hell out of that drive.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:54 PM ^
This is what Auburn does. I don't know what that razzle dazzle before was all about.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:54 PM ^
This Auburn TD drive where the Auburn OL road graded Penn State's defense bodes well for us.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:58 PM ^
That's a nice point.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:55 PM ^
Great to see that both OSU and PSU can be run on, and that is obviously our strength this year.
Hopefully, we throw in a bunch of different looks, pulls, end arounds and play action instead of trying to slam our heads into the middle of a stacked box as in years past. Thus far the running game has been violent and creative this year.

Wisconsin is going to be Wisconsoned this year.
