Beer...

Sorry, but nothing else is as fun*. I'm currently sporting a Sam Adams Winter Ale. Much more to come.

*Although, I do love a damn good long island iced tea. Those go down like water.

Which has been my personal tradition for almost 20 years. Best on tap, especially if I've avoided the temptation over the past few weeks of its yearly release. Like Harbaugh, only in a bottle, practically perfect in every way.

whatever tastes good to you is good.  A lot of people in MI love Shorts. I think it's the most overrated in the state.  They do a TON of different brews and I don't think they do many of them particularly well.  Seem to have spread themselves thin. Huma Luma Licious or whatever it is, is a solid IPA though.

Spot on with the Short's critique. Way to many bottles releases. The Curl is in my top 3 beers of all time, but it seems like more often than not I end up not liking their stuff. Seems like they got much too much praise too fast and ended up thinking they could do no wrong. They do plenty wrong though, but I will say their brewpub is worth a visit or 12 and I have seldom been disappointed by what they have on tap.

So I'm going to have mikes hard cherry lime punch. Big 24 oz cans with Deadpool on them. I grabbed one the other day because of Deadpool on the can and it's surprisingly good and 8% alc.

There are a number of other barrel aged brews out now as well. So many breweries are now producing variations of them. BCBS is great but IMO not worth waiting in line or overpaying given all the other options now. I got revolution brewing and lake effect barrel aged stouts today from Binny's. Also got a Deschutes 27th anniversary ale (barrel aged ale). They also still had a bunch of backwoods bastard and a number of other barrel aged brews.
