Put a Sparty helmet on. It was too small, joked that it didn't fit, then put on a huge M helmet. Gave Des a "go blue!" at the end.

They wanted Desmond to strike the pose, but I don't think he ended up. After the show ended everyone stayed around for about five minutes chanting "Do the pose!" Alas, he only waved.

From all this technology and connectedness, we certainly live in the age of the spectacle, and hyperspeed information. Hence: why the signs are the most important part, instead of just the icing on the cake, i.e. it shouldn't be the BASIS of gameday. Or, if it is the basis, then it's a testament to poor quality that it's being outshone, by rabble (actually Shakespeare used to set this up within his plays, so the groundlings (the people who sat at the front) could heckle the actors if they were subpar). There's just no time to slow down, and investigate, in modern media.

I did like the piece on Glasgow, but you're right, even the location was very strange, it felt like such a crammed space.

They certainly didn't spend the week exploring or unearthing (their jobs btw) much of Ann Arbor itself and relating it to UM Football/history. Just clips. It's like when you watch one of those clearly "mailed-in" episodes of some "Late Night TV show" or SNL.

I mean, I love the energy and attention to Ann Arbor. But you're right, it certainly felt unsatisfying.
