Elite 8 games thread?
Already some pretty amazing moments...
Doesn't matter if it counts or not, this is unreal! #marchmadness #Xavier pic.twitter.com/UH9L75WVky

Mr. Bell !!
wow...beautiful 2 for 1 execution for the Ducks
don't know why, but so be it. at least for the next 1 1/2 hrs, go ducks.
When that kind of crap happens, it is your night. Oregon is going to win this thing.
I can't watch this anymore because we are better than Oregon. Ugh.
true talk...we can't play the defense that they just put on Kansas.
I'm not sure we're better than Oregon, but I think we are very comparable to them - as our game showed.

Bell has really disrupted Kansas' offense. We don't have anyone like him.

To be fair, we could have lost either of our first two games, too. March Madness is a fickle beast.

Luck had nothing to do with the spot in Columbus. That was a straight up hosejob by the OSU fan refs and the B1G conference.

Bill Self is going to live off that one title for years at Kansas despite all evidence that he is only good at recruiting.

We may not feel too happy at the moment, but how must Purdue fans feel? They were consoling themselves with the idea that they just ran into a buzzsaw.
This adds evidence to the argument that we were the Big Ten's best team at season's end.
March 25th, 2017 at 10:26 PM ^
It's not even an argument. We were the best team by season's end. We beat all the other contenders straight up.

I just turned it off. Too painful. I had made my peace with our loss, but this just makes me replay every frame from that game in my head and think about what could have been. I was much happier assuming that Oregon would lose by double-digits.

I don't know. When I was younger I used to root for the team we lost to, figuring that if we lost to the best team there was less shame in that.
Now I just see this happen and think "it should have been us." I would honestly be having an easier time with this if Kansas was killing them.
Ah well. Losing stinks.

Oregon looks more athletic than Kansas. Yet when they played us they looked good but not great like that at all. Amazing.

Enough of these Viagra commercials. Jeez. They don't have to advertise. Trust me.

While Oregon is playing very well, Jackson having a terrible day offensively isn't necessarily something you can count on.
March 25th, 2017 at 10:28 PM ^
We also don't have Jordan Bell.
March 25th, 2017 at 10:30 PM ^
OTOH, a lot of guys seem to have rough shooting nights against Oregon's D.
March 25th, 2017 at 10:33 PM ^
That's true, but Kansas going 0/8 on 3s in this half seems a bit like bad luck. And Jackson is coming on in this second half. Those early fouls absolutely seemed to screw up his timing.
But credit to Oregon; they are playing very well right now.
March 25th, 2017 at 10:31 PM ^
That was a good defensive series by Kansas the last couple of times down the court. Dorsey hitting that three is just bad luck.
March 25th, 2017 at 10:34 PM ^
Oregon going in the tank offensively helped. Thought Altman was at least a possession late with that timeout, not that it's mattered.

I get putting the #1 seed in their closest region, but Kansas City of Kansas seems over the top. Sounds louder than Allen Fieldhouse.

Yes, on the border of Kansas, all of 40 miles away.
