Dwayne Haskins Apologizes for Photos of Him with Multiple Strippers While Not Wearing a Mask

Sometimes the headline tells the story.

First paragraph says: 'The Washington Football Team said it is aware of pictures on social media showing quarterback Dwayne Haskins not wearing a mask while attending an event with strippers.'

Social Media and Strippers are usually a bad combo - especially in the middle of the season during a global pandemic and no mask to boot.

I mentioned on another thread recently that in my lifetime, I have yet to see an osu QB do Jack shit in the pros and that's a 50 year sample size.

Fields is already giving indication that he might be overrated, and that's with very superior talent, I'll be curious to see how he does when his side isn't stacked with talent like he has it now.

Look how he did in the clutch last year against Clemson when the chips were down.

The top 5 career AVs for OSU quarterbacks (Tom Matte doesn't count because very little of his AV came from QB play):

  1. Mike Tomczak
  2. Tom Tupa (OK, he doesn't count either)
  3. Kent Graham
  4. Terrelle Pryor
  5. Troy Smith

When your second best QB got virtually all of his value from punting, you're not doing so well. Art Schlichter would be next, if you don't count Tupa.

Here's Michigan's for comparison:

  1. Tom Brady
  2. Jim Harbaugh
  3. Brian Griese
  4. Elvis Grbac
  5. Chad Henne

Tomczak wasn't all that bad and would slot between Grbac and Henne. It's a long way down from there to Kent Graham.

You asked why people would object and got a reply and your response is essentially I don't object so why should anyone else.

Regardless if one agrees with you or not, stating that something isn't objectionable to anyone because you don't find it objectionable is a dumb argument. Given the arc (thus far at least) of Haskin's career, it's unlikely to hurt him, but there are enough people in the world who would object that it could cost a player endorsements and future post playing career jobs.

That being said, If I were the team I'd be much more pissed about the potential Covid exposure (Masked or not). Going to the Strip Club is not an essential activity, whether you wear a mask or not.
