He has a good offer sheet relative to his rankings. Michigan and ND are in his top group but other reported offers include (oklahoma, lsu, fsu, uga, miami, ole miss, and stanford). Comparatively, the OLBs near him in the rankings are committed to Pitt, Lousiville, and Duke. It will be interesting to see who is more right.

I was there all week telling people this was coming. I sat and had some drinks w the Rivals Scout and he told me that Jones wanted to go Blue but was in wait mode and had to see what happened w a few kids. Rivals guy handles ND so he said that Jones loves Harbaugh and if he can't go to Mich then ND Was gonna be the choice.

Did Durkin bring in any recruits while he was here that would give him elite status? I know he was at Florida. Not arguing, just asking. Also seems like most recruits don't know who Don Brown is since most recruits have said they had to read up on the guy. Our diamond in the rough so to speak.

No doubt about it we need one more linebacker in this class. Bush, Dytarious Johnson, Jones, and Gil (I think he is DEFINITELY moving to LB based on his size) would be a good haul to compliment Gedeon, McCray, Furbush, Reuben Jones, and Winovich,

Artie: To be honest, I'm not even sure why the sites have him as a safety. Basically all of his Hudl highlights are of him playing Middle Linebacker and in a hybrid outside linebacker role in their defensive scheme.

I think he has been told he is going to be a linebacker because he also does not appear to be 6'1 200 pounds. He looks closer to 6'1 220 already in the latest videos from their state title game. He can still get sideline to sideline which should help vs spread teams.

Was that based on anything more than alum96's speculation? Only thing I dislike about those posts is speculating about that, or about who will leave, without any evidence or reason (just "this kid is one of the couple low rated guys" not "this guy is taking visits and said X") which makes me uncomf.

Everyone talked at BC about how he was one of the players favorite coaches. He will be just fine as a recruiter. He looks to be a great teacher and a good guy... comparing him to Durkin's elite status as a recruiting may be a little unfair.
