but, as a player, Harbaugh played with, and used with great frequency backs like Neal Anderson and Marshall Faulk, as well as FBs like Brad Muster and Zack Crockett, he used them very effectively. RBs and FB were consistently combining for 50 60 70 receptions. I know offensive schemes have changed, but that shows me that there is certainly no aversion to throwing to the RB's. It's more a matter of personnel and scheme. If Ty Issacs is best used by catching 40 balls, I'm sure he'll be used that way.

I do like throwing to the RBs but if our O-line is working and we get the ball moving I don't care how he does it.

Maybe with everyone running a spread, the power run game will be the new hottness that no one can defend.
