I'm sure Teddy Greenstein will have a column on this in no time (sarcasm).

"I am no longer committed to Maryland," Hall stated. "I spoke with Coach (D.J.) Durkin, and he said they couldn't promise me my scholarship with the grayshirt."

"Nobody has offered yet, but I was being looked at by Toledo, Ohio University, Eastern Michigan," he added. "I visited Ohio State, and they said I can be a preferred walkon with them."

I'VE DISCOVERED THAT JIM HARBAUGH IS LITERALLY A SCHOLARSHIP PULLING VAMPIRE (SPV). IT HAS BECOME ABUNDANTLY CLEAR TO BOTH MYSELF AND THE CHICAGO TRIBUNE THAT JIM HARBAUGH INFECTED DJ DURKIN DURING HIS TIME AS AN ASSISTANT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN DURING THE 2015 SEASON, THEN SENT HIM TO MARYLAND TO CONTINUE HIS MISSION OF PULLING THE SCHOLARSHIPS OF AS MANY PLAYERS AS POSSIBLE (IT'S CLEAR THAT OFFENSIVE LINEMAN ARE THE OBVIOUS FAVORITE TARGET OF THESE DISGUSTING SPV'S). MICHIGAN JUST WASN'T ENOUGH FOR COUNT HARBAUGH, HE NEEDS TO EXPAND HIS INFLUENCE. SOON, HIS COACHING TREE'S UNHOLY BRANCHES WILL TOUCH EVERY CONFERENCE, AND THEN NO SCHOLARSHIP OFFER WILL BE SAFE.

Wait, so was he always offered a greyshirt and that offer was pulled, or was he offered a normal scholarship and told he couldn't even be guaranteed a greyshirt?

Do we need a new thread every time his happens? At this point it's pretty clear this is a common practice. There aren't going to be articles written about this because Maryland and Durkin don't move the needle like Michigan and Harbaugh.

to be out of control. Oh wait...its Maryland...they are contending for a top recruiting class and for a big ten title next year. Nobody cares because it is not Harbaugh and Michigan.

a kid can commit  then decommitt..then recommitt to another school, then continue to take visits to other schools. and on top of that drag out their choice till signing day so they can pick from one of 5 hats. but a school cant let a kid know that there may not be a spot for them?

imagine if a school told a kid they had a scholarship but on signing day told them it was no longer available? this is why schools give out so many offers. you never know till the end who will really sign with you.

its funny how proud these other schools act when a kid decommits from another school to them, but cries everytime michigan takes one player over another.

I'm kind of waiting for the story on Nate Johnson come next week. If we end up taking Stewart there may not be room for him. Then we have to tell him that we cannot honor his commitment on signing day, even though he is chosing between us an two other universities that same day.

then maybe he shouldnt drag it out until signing day? if he cant tell michigan until signing day then i would think michigan would have the same option.

stop with the verbals and all these national commiting shows these kids put on and let the players and school keep it to themselves like it should be.
