Lions currently up 3-0 and driving again after Dak threw an int to that CB whose name I cannot spell or pronounce

He's been bad today but agree. If throwing there, he's your guy. Not Gibbs on a QOut.

Though it is hard when Goff is averaging about 2 seconds per pass before Parsons takes his head off. Reminds me a lot of PSU this year. Not even Sewell is faring very well in that battle. Decker been beat a few times, too.

The "analytics" really feel out of place in a game like this, where the skill all over the field can make or break any play.  Makes sense in the college game, but man, some plays in this game are busts and some homeruns.  Glad they took the points to take the lead.

Had Campbell kicked the first time, I would have been okay going for it there. 16-10 is not much different than 13-10, but a TD would have given them a 2-possession lead.

Shit defensive series there. One of those drives where when you get pressure with 4-5, the secondary can't hold up. When the secondary holds up nobody can get home to the QB. Story of the defense this year.

Plenty of time left.

Take out their awesome OG and they started blocking hella better.  Or maybe Detroit just stopped tackling.  Either way, the offense needs to answer with a TD.  Anything short and this game is done - Dallas isn't giving up any last second bullshit.

Their pass rush is insane but it's crazier how often they are allowed to dictate who blocks Parsons. It works because he's a freak that can line up from the A to a near wide-9 (even off ball) and get home. Still, you'd think you'd have a slide call or protect to help. Twice they had LaPorta on him alone that series.

Fuck this.  When your OL is a sieve and you need quick throws, you're going to picked like that.  It's why Moore ran the ball 32 times.  It's why you need a QB that run outside the pocket sometimes.

Brad Holmes better not give Goff a huge contract. He’s too mediocre. He’s a game manager at best and he makes too many dumb mistakes.

That long windup is so tough for Goff because it's a giant billboard that the ball is coming. It was a bad throw but the DB jumped that as soon as Goff started his windup.
