This isn't going to help his draft stock...

Edit: Unofficial 4.7
MOD EDIT: I meant to come back to this and alter the title to show a hint of tact - LSA

Gallon ran in the 4.4s i believe..He had a burst but short strides...And i compared Funchess to Kelvin Benjamin but the 40 times are far off, Interested to see Devin run again at pro day

Also, it is tough to get caught from behind often when you don't make it past the defense.

See, this is why everybody had avatars of naked ladies. There are so many more to choose from.

I always thought he should have stayed a TE.
February 21st, 2015 at 11:39 AM ^
Surely not his blocking prowess.
February 21st, 2015 at 11:52 AM ^
I think he made more plays and was more of a threat at TE. I know he wasn't the physical/blocky type but I think when he was a TE they found more spots to put him in that resulted in better matchups. He just didn't seem to be that same threat when he was out wide. But maybe QB and/or O-line factors were part of that as well.

Now he'll fall to a later round, get picked by a good team instead of a bad one, and explode out of nowhere?

New England?

Would be great for him to end up in NE but I don't think he has the mentality they look for in players.

One guy deflecting blame for his legal issues, another immensely underperforming in physical drills. Brady Hoke's Michigan, everybody.

There's a lot of great young men that have come out of Brady Hoke's Michigan as well so let's try not to forget that.

How is Clark's actions a reflection on Hoke? Please enlighten us on how you would have handled that situation any differently without the benefit of hindsight.
And how is Devin's 40 a reflection of Hoke? 'Cause he didn't "coach him up" to be faster? He didn't recruit a faster guy to jump to the pros early?
Hoke's tenure has plenty of fodder for criticism, but this ain't part of it.

He could have dismissed him when he admitted to stealing some dude's expensive Apple laptop from his dorm room?
And it's no secret our players have underperformed physically over the past four years.

I think the fact that we really have some uninspiring draft picks coming out of Michigan is indicative of Brady Hoke's MIchigan....not the specific of Frank Clark. Other than Clark and Gibbons, did we have alot of legal issues under Hoke? Unfortunately, legal issues pop up with players at every school. If it was happening more frequently than other schools, than I'd be really concerned about the personal development of our players. But it seems like kids like Denard, Gallon, Kovacs etc are more Hoke's norm than Gibbons and Clark.

the Gibbons action happened before Hoke got there but it was (maybe?) Hoke's decision to keep him on the team. Stonum also was dismissed by Hoke for DUI's.

Ebron ran a 4.60 at 250 lbs and was 6-4-3/8. 4.70 is blocking TE speed.
