Good haul.  Any of these guys projected to be lockdown boundary types?

I know it's rare to have a Woodson or Stingley from day 1, but can we expect Jourdan Lewis, David Long or even Lavert Hill level production down the road from these guys, or does it look like we are moving to a more zone friendly defense given our seemingly strong safety recruiting the last 2 cycles?

A shorter, Clark/Stribling/Gray type that may be more physical than all 3...definitely more physical than Stribling even right now.

Crazy looking at the CA state rankings on 247 how bad California is being raided by outside teams. Stanford has one of the top 25 players and Cal, USC, and UCLA have none

UCLA has been in a funk for a long while (except for kids who leave the state and wanna come back like Devin Asiasi).  Cal has never been a recruiting powerhouse.  It's USC's self imposed collapse that's leading to the exodus.  Oregon is currently making hay off those kids who would normally go to USC.

Ohio has been killing it in Texas for the last few years thanks to the Longhorns struggles.  Florida is also a ripe state for the plucking while FSU and Miami fuck around.  The only major football state we don't really have access to at the moment is Ohio.  I believe we would benefit greatly from a few more anti-Buckeye kids from the state like we used to pull as recently as the Hoke era

By looking at the depth chart by class on this page and subtracting Ruiz, Spanellis, Jeter and Filiagia, that still leaves 88 without any transfers and Mazzccua who still may sign in the spring. There still has to be some attrition to get to 85.

Dennis seems like the best bet in this class. 5’11”-ish but also verified great speed. He’s a bit of a project but has the most upside (but only because he’s taller than Seldon, who also looks like he could be very good)
