How does this keep happening? Good rule of thumb, that is repeated at least weekly. If you aren't on the board constantly, don't start a "news" post, you're certain to be too late. If something is more than a few hours old, don't create a new post for it, it already exists.
It has been this way for over a decade, and yet...

It absolutely blows my mind how often this happens. I mean the dude's been around here almost three years so he KNOWS that anything important is posted within minutes of it being announced, much less three fucking days later.
I created a post yesterday on the Nico Collins and literally had another tab open to see if someone else posted it before I hit "save". And my news was less than five minutes old.
