Great news.  Really scary situation, I'm glad to see him continuing to improve more and more every day.

Incredible.  Shout out to the medical staff and all involved in saving his life. 

And shout out to the country in general for showing that it can rally behind a good cause and still have a collective empathy.

Super happy for him and his family. Seems like a high character kind of guy, too. He exceeded his go fund me goal of $2K for kids toys by about, oh, a few million!

Definitely hoping Chiefs play Bills for AFC title. Just would have loved for that game to have been played in Ford Field (alas, turf replacement in Jan prevents that). 

Hoping for Bill-Chiefs and Vikings-49ers. Brian Griese is QB coach for 49ers and doing an amazing job with Brock Purdy (Mr. Irrelevant). 

Would be fitting to have Damar at the Superbowl opening coin toss!

It is great news. The focus should now shift to what caused his situation. 

That's amazing, especially after what happened to him. I guess the obvious question now is will he return to pro football?
