Seriously, who has never screwed up in a game? The key is how do you respond. He recovers and we win.
I play hockey and there are very few hockey players that tell the truth and will say they never scored on their own goalie. This makes you feel like shit, but it happens

I’m trying to imagine a 20 year old version of myself (with actual athletic skill) in the situation where I’ve muffed the punt and Bama’s gunners are about to light me up. I am 100% sure that I lose control of all bodily functions and fall over. Dude has my respect.

Jake saved the National Championship. I hope he can one day see this. Everything adds up just so. Glass is more than full Jake, Take your drink and stay here. You're already a Champion. Teach others how to do it. The mistake would be to leave.
