Connor Murphy is probably going to break the internet today
I don't think Connor Murphy understands the meaning of "Netflix and Chill."
It was a Netflix & Chill kind of night with @CoachJim4UM @umichfootball @espn #sleepover pic.twitter.com/yezUaYc6bK

Well, all the people that thought this idea was creepy just got some more fodder.

Why do I get the sense that the gay jokes are mostly coming from people over the age of 23?
January 20th, 2016 at 10:12 AM ^
Some of the most truly awful things you see on Twitter are posted by teenagers. Prime example would be the tweets @ Blake O'Neill after the MSU game.
In this case, I think most of the jokes will be coming from anyone wearing rival colors.
January 20th, 2016 at 10:50 AM ^
I don't know, but I definitely hear these kinds of things from people 40+ more than others. I think people in their 20's should at least know how stupid it makes them sound, though.

January 20th, 2016 at 10:11 AM ^
is a must for this young man. Someone should let him know what it really means.
January 20th, 2016 at 10:28 AM ^
I'm going to add a new entry to Urban Dictionary that makes this completely normal and innocent. Just because some weirdo in San Francisco made this up and decided it should be a thing, doesn't mean it should be a thing.
January 20th, 2016 at 10:34 AM ^
Who was coaching in San Francisco for four years? And he has time to make posts to Urban Dictionary? I'm sure he'll let Connor know what he said and the tweet will be taken down.

ESPN already asked for permission and was granted so by Murphy.

Not that long ago. It was in 2009. Link:

I've always felt like it's been a matter of Harbaugh telling Murphy that he wants him at Michigan. May be not an instant commit but definitely ours to lose.
January 20th, 2016 at 10:21 AM ^
...but it was more recent than that. As I recall, it was in 2009 when Durkin and Harbaugh actually showed up to recruit Trent Murphy (who is with Washington in the NFL, I think) when Trent and Connor's mom went into labor. It was a good four or five hours too (the length of the babysitting), I think, so imagine just hanging out and playing games with Jim Harbaugh for an afternoon or evening and being nine or ten years old then having him come back years later to recruit you.
