He's probably remembering it more closely in line with the actual data than it seems like most people on here are. I won't say Brady wasn't good, but he wasn't great. He was a good qb who obviously didn't reach his potential until he played in the pros.

but not fantastic as some have claimed. He was Honorable Mention All Big Ten and had some great performances. He also barely held his starting spot and finished with a career passer efficiency rating of 134.9, which would be good for 54th in the country this year. For some historical context his rating was 138 in 1999, which put him at17th in the country in that year. His career number is below the career number for Devin Gardener and Drew Stanton. There was definitely cheering in the stadium when he was benched for Henson, hell he's even talked about that in interviews. Here are his completion percentage, yards, yards per attempt, tds, ints, and efficiency rating for 1999:
61.0, | 2217, | 7.5, | 6, | 6 | 138 |
Here are Speights numbers for 2016: 61.6, 2538, 7.7, 18, 7, 139.8. I don't remember anyone on here saying Speight was a fantastic quarterback in 2016. The idea that he was fantastic is just a revision of history because he is the best pro quarterback of all time.

I remember after an OSU loss at the Big House the OSU players lining up to shake Brandon's hands before celebrating their win. He was that good and respected. If any UM player deserves a moment in the sun, Brandon does.

As a life-long Eagles fan and UM grad, I've never been so happy for someone as much as BG. He worked his a** off through major injuries, multiple defensive coordinators, and so much more (AFTER being on some **** UM teams) and deserves the moment as much as anyone.

Very happy for him. As an aside, loved his interview after the game, everything he said, and even the swag way he wore his hat.

Very few deserve this kind of moment like Brandon Graham does. You knew that Brady was going to march his offense right down the field and score had that fumble not occured. Would've been as certain as the sun coming up this morning. But Brandon made the play of the game, and almost certainly made the play of his life.
Graham played for some underacheiving Lloyd Carr teams, some god-awful RichRod teams, fought injuries over and over in the league, and had to learn different schemes from multiple head coaches. Now he's arguably the man of the year in Philly, and won't ever pay for a meal in that town again. Happy that great things are finally happening for him!

I am glad it was Michigan Man Brandon Graham! I loved his post game interview. This means the world to him, and he was the reason they won.
