College Hoops Thread

Figured I would try to start a thread about a sport where our favorite team actually has a chance to succeed this year.

Kentucky was beaten today by the Richmond Spiders. I love how Juwan is getting surefire one and done players but also dipping into the 2-3 year top 100 talent as well. UK replaces their roster every year and it shows.

Ohio State was taken to the last 3 minutes today as well. I didnt think they looked that good to be honest.

Villanova lost last night to Virginia Tech.

I think its gonna be a wide open year this year. The lack of crowds at home arenas makes a lot of difference and eliminates the home environment advantage. The NCAA tournament will be interesting of they play in one city and no fans.

Any thoughts on these topics, today's starting lineup or anything else that doesn't involve another redundant hot take about Michigan football would be appreciated.

Why is Smith not playing more? Brooks is awful at passing, he is not a PG.

Team is way too careless with the ball, I miss that about Beilein, I hope Juwan puts an emphasis on it.

Is this our football team trying to play basketball? They just keep throwing terrible passes that turn into turnovers.

We look absolutely terrible. Austin Davis has been bad on the boards and on defense. Hopefully Smith settles them down on offense, but it's crazy that Xavier bombed these guys away and we can't figure out how to pass around the zone. Franz has been very disappointing too.

Again, this team trailed Xavier 53-12 at halftime and Toledo 43-20. They lost to Xavier by OVER 50! They have barely practiced. AND THEY ARE TIED WITH MICHIGAN. What the absolute fuck.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Just like in football, our opponent looks like complete crap against EVERYONE else but then get their act together when playing us. I’m so tired of this rerun.

One thing that is confusing to me - man to man but no help side d - no steering just straight up

Normally there are a couple of principles in play for help side and I’m not seeing any.
