As will the folks from [redacted]sports.com. It's going to be crowded in EL and I'm excited to be there in person. Let's run it down their throat and take their will

That crew will fit right in at East Lansing. Maybe we can get their President to transfer his degree to MSU

Especially Glenny Balls

Thoughts and prayers for the GameDay crew. I suppose there are worse college towns.

None that I can think of at the moment ...

DDD likes The Cosmos and Meat BBQ for eateries.
I haven't been there since 1973.

Maybe I don't pay enough attention, but how many times has ESPN chosen to host gameday at a game they aren't even televising?
October 25th, 2021 at 2:00 PM ^
It happens a few times a year. Just two weeks ago, they did UGA v Kentucky which was on CBS. They overlap with a FOX Big Noon game a couple times a year usually.
Hopefully they'll be back in Ann Arbor in four weeks for another Fox game.

Oh, the wit and charm of the signs will be a sight to behold. Some of them might even meet broadcast television standards.
/s, just in case

They'll be fun - ESPN polices them to keep the filthy stuff from earning an FCC fine.

over/under on the spelling errors?

Shartan local news expert, Tony Paul, tweets that State is 7-0 when Gameday is in East Lansing. He's then forced to issue a quick retraction when he learns the actual record is unfortunately a meager 3-5.
October 25th, 2021 at 2:00 PM ^
Fox's "Big Noon Kickoff" pregame show announced it, too, would be on hand for U-M vs. MSU. Fox will also broadcast the game, scheduled for a noon kickoff. The pregame will begin at 10 a.m.

Damn, three different Gameday sets there (yes, I am including the one that probably most people here hate, but it'll draw a big crowd too)

Who will be the "celebrity" guest picker? Will be hard to top Bill Walton from last week!! Couple of guesses:
a. Magic
b. Gibby

Not trying to be a sick but I can’t think of anyone noteworthy enough besides those two. (Draymond and Cousins don’t count as they are in their seasons).
The only noteworthy person I can think of is Jemele Hill and ESPN isn’t going to want someone political

Spartan Bob
But he'll need an extra 2 or 3 seconds to make his pick.

In all seriousness, Chris Webber, recent inductee into the Basketball HOF and (potential? actual? fictional?) reconciliation with the University would be a nice storyline and celebrity guest in the unfriendly confines of spartyland.

Ha...
... WD did get into a twitter pissing contest with a sparty student a few years ago and Mike's witty comeback was that he was a donor.

Definately the network's new choice for a primetime kickoff.
PSU's diaper mess sort of screwed up what looked like a killer matchup. OSU will win by halftime.
This game is looking like a classic in the making, both offenses have been bland for a few games. Someone is going to change it up.
Great for the State of Michigan.
