UCF, Alabama wants you.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:07 AM ^
I just found out last night one of my employees is going to be a guest on Game Day today. His name is Rocky Ross and he's an ex WR for UCF! No idea why they picked him yet but he's going to be on.
How cool is that? Real happy for him.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:08 AM ^
That's cool!
Is he going to be a guest picker?
Tell him you will give him a raise if he picks them all right.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:11 AM ^
i honest to God have no idea what he's going to do or for how long. All I know is he's going to be a guest on the show so I'm just hoping he somehow gives a shout out to our company Checkpoint Surgical.
Now that would be awesome.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:16 AM ^
Text him quickly, and tell him to fall and break his leg while on the air and then shout out for help from Checkpoint Surgical.
Tell him you'll make it worth his while.
It will go down in College Game Day history along side of Corso's F-bomb.
You can't buy that kind of publicity.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:55 AM ^
Hey mGrowOld, I just checked out your website. Cool product! Did you invent/design it?
November 17th, 2018 at 11:30 AM ^
I wish. I was one of the initial investors and sat on the BOD for a couple of years before taking active role in executive management.
FYI the surgeon who worked on Denard was one of our guys and the device was used to try and repair his ulner nerve.
November 17th, 2018 at 11:56 AM ^
Was he on?
November 17th, 2018 at 12:03 PM ^
I was out for a bit, what did they have Rocky Ross do?
November 17th, 2018 at 11:34 AM ^
Ha! You work for Checkpoint? I know you guys well. I started an orthopedic medical device start-up a few years ago. Like you guys, we focus on instruments, not implants. Don’t worry, we’re not a competitor. But there are not a lot of companies that focus just on instruments. I’ve talked with several of you guys (perhaps even you) at some of the orthopedic conferences.

Even better, give him a raise if he picks against OSU, and then OSU does in fact lose to Maryland. One can dream, right?
November 17th, 2018 at 10:28 AM ^
Is he NERVEous?
November 17th, 2018 at 9:11 AM ^
I heard the Citadel released a short video showing the uni's they're wearing for the tilt with Bama today. It's the same uni that they wore when they beat South Carolina a few years back. At the end of the video, it says 'Alabama - we're coming for you!'.
LMAO!!! Go Citadel!!!
November 17th, 2018 at 11:45 AM ^
I find interesting that ESPN doesn't say a critical word about the SEC's choice of scheduling this week - ever.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:13 AM ^
Do they ever give Rinaldi something to do that's not depressing?
For God sake Game Day, give him "best partying frat at LSU" or something like that for once.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:18 AM ^
His personality is depressing, I don't think he could properly cover a frat party... He's too serious. Lighten up, you Urban loving dickface!!!
November 17th, 2018 at 9:39 AM ^
It's funny they got a robot human for that role.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:18 AM ^
I'm not sure what is more creepy. A Mickey Mouse that never blinks, or one that does.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:24 AM ^
One that winks.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:19 AM ^
Am I the only one praying for heavy snow today? Winter is here ffs this team needs a snowgame to set the mood for their next stop in Shortlumbus
November 17th, 2018 at 9:22 AM ^
I want it clear and dry and a quick win with no injuries.
Let it snow 2 feet in College Park, MD today and the Buckeyes worry about all the injuries.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:25 AM ^
Ok I'm buying what you're selling...hadn't thought about injury risks but snow games are glorious
November 17th, 2018 at 9:30 AM ^
I want this game and weather to be exactly what Zach Charbonnett is looking for to close with Michigan. That probably means spectacular running, not too cold, a great crowd, and no injuries.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:30 AM ^
This exactly.
Michigan is the better team. The last thing I want is something like snow, that can level the playing field and inject randomness into the game. And, I have to imagine that games played in the snow are more likely to result in injuries. If nothing else, the game tends to be closer for longer so that starters have to play more.
My wish list for his game is a nice comfortable lead at halftime so that we can go vanilla and get every single key player out of the game and into a Jordan Brand bubble wrap cocoon as soon as possible.
Let Urban deal with the elements this week. I never wish injury on any team, but I wouldn’t mind hearing about OSU coming down with a nasty quick-spreading stomach virus or coxsacki virus (look it up, it’s now what it sounds like).
November 17th, 2018 at 9:41 AM ^
"I want it clear and dry and a quick game with no injuries."
Except for my guy Rocky.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:13 AM ^
"Hold me Checkpoint Surgical!"
November 17th, 2018 at 9:39 AM ^
I'm bracing myself for some more David Pollack bullshit. This fucker really gets under my skin. What a dick.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:14 AM ^
Plus, he looks like a corpse.
Dude just creeps me out in every way.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:57 AM ^
Georgia version of Eddie Munster.
November 17th, 2018 at 9:48 AM ^
Federer Zverev in ATP semifinal right now. Come on Roger!
November 17th, 2018 at 10:26 AM ^
Where can I purchase this at
November 17th, 2018 at 10:46 AM ^
Best...pic...ever
November 17th, 2018 at 10:21 AM ^
UCF issued national championship rings to their players and coaches and put “2017 National Champions” on their stadium? I thought their national championship claim was facetious, but that seems to suggest they are serious about it. That’s pretty sad.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:26 AM ^
corso is a G. Dude is so old he doesn’t give a fuck what he says on live TV.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:55 AM ^
Who do you got coach between Northwestern and Minnesota?
"I'll go with Michigan, I mean Wisconsin, the Badgers."
"These fans don't give a $hit"
November 17th, 2018 at 10:26 AM ^
UCF "just wants a chance."
If you just wanted a chance at a national title playing in that conference then your out of conference schedule should look better than South Carolina State, Pittsburgh, and UConn.
If you are a mid major and want a shot at making a 4 team playoff your OOC schedule should look more like Oklahoma, LSU, and Iowa.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:38 AM ^
Precisely. I would extend a similar argument against Notre Dame getting any sort of benefit of the doubt when the time comes to (and likely is coming) to choose between UM and ND for that final playoff slot. You want the chance at being weighed evenly, then join a conference and compete for that conf chamionship first. Otherwise you’re second tier.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:47 AM ^
Well, Notre Dame did schedule the (hopefully) Big Ten Champion this year.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:57 AM ^
Lee Corso is in rare form ... Confused Minnestoa with Michigan then Wisconsin. Ugh.
November 17th, 2018 at 11:10 AM ^
Unfortunately, I would not assess him as being in "rare form"...more like "usual form". How do people like Corso get into the positions they do??? Seriously. No talent, no character, no class...
It's disgusting.
November 17th, 2018 at 11:20 AM ^
November 17th, 2018 at 11:47 AM ^
Clearly you are too young to know this man as a coach...he was terrible. His opinions are of no more value than any random person walking down the street. He's always been awful...has nothing to do with his stroke.
November 17th, 2018 at 12:02 PM ^
The envy is strong in this one.
November 17th, 2018 at 11:29 AM ^
Wow, you really do not like Lee Corso. I think you may take College Gameday a little more seriously than most folks.
November 17th, 2018 at 11:39 AM ^
But not me!!
November 17th, 2018 at 11:43 AM ^
Something about your post is disgusting, but it isn't Corso.
November 17th, 2018 at 12:04 PM ^
Like most things in American entertainment, he's stayed on a little too long. At this point it's just sad to keep running him out there. He needs to retire for his own health. He's too old to be traveling all over the country.
November 17th, 2018 at 10:59 AM ^
The lesson of this week's Game Day is that UCF fans really haven't been there, nor will they ever likely get there, and perhaps this is better for them.
