Nobody is picking Michigan.  Let's rise up and bite them in the ass, and shock the world in honor of Coach Juwan Howard!

Well, to be fair, Desmond Howard's picking Michigan.  But Desmond would pick Michigan against the New England Patriots.  He's Michigan's version of the homer celebrity picker GameDay has every week.

Many of us aren't picking Michigan either sad to say.  Hoping for the best but expecting 3 to 4 hours of no lube BPONR...black pit of negative realizations

Michigan will have to run for 150+ to win. It will have to be low scoring. The defense will have to be almost perfect.

Shea isn't putting the team on his back and throwing to 300. Nor would JH let the offense open up enough to do that.

I guess their best chance would be to play the "no respect" card and play with a chip on their shoulder.

The sad thing is I don't think this Penn State team is a conference winning or playoff team. Just an average, decent team that I have little optism that JH can beat.

Well our offense is hitting their stride, so expect a blowout win lol But seriously, 150 yds rushing and 200 yards passing and we will be looking good as long as our defense  plays decent. 150 yds rushing would be really, really good.

Agreed, PSU isn’t any where near it’s McSorley/Barkley offense.  The Pitt and Iowa defenses smacked them pretty good.  If Brown dials up the right game plan and the guys execute, this game is winnable. Tough in a white out to be efficient on offense, so expect a conservative game plan with a few deep shots that need to hit.  And don’t count out importance of special teams - punt games in particular will be a key to the game.

Michigan 17 - PSU 13

Don Brown has figured out all this Morehead-based offense scheme has to offer.

Go Blue !!!

That’s the trouble with being a Michigan fan, we’re always expected to be better than everyone else and when we lose it is because we underperformed.  If we win it is because we were expected to.  Even when we were winning consecutive big ten championships in the 90’s it was like that.  Need to figure out how to embrace the underdog.

The keys are for Michigan to not turn the ball over and prevent Penn State explosive plays (run plays of 12+ yards and pass plays of 18+ yards). If they are able to do that (and maybe force a turnover or two and get a few explosive plays of their own) then this game will turn into a rock fight which Michigan can win.

Spot on. Turnovers biggest thing, can’t turn it over. Doesn’t bode well for this team. Second, eliminate the big play. Make PSU drive field and eliminate the chunk play, then I think this is a dog fight to the last 7 min. From there, who knows what happens. Whatever O can make a play or FG kicker is reliable.

It's going to be ugly but we win today.  Our play makers are going to create some magic. I can't see Shea doing anything of special note and we make a change after failing to create much offense at halftime. We will play a shitty/conservative scheme but ultimately, we edge by yet again.  27-17 Michigan

It's amazing how Michigan seems like a total non-entity on this show aside from being the butt of the joke. The fact that Michigan's Sports Information office and/or Harbaugh refuse to see Gameday as an important venue to showcase something, nay, anything about the program continues to boggle the mind.

Harbaugh gives them about five minutes of canned, sitdown interviews when they come to Ann Arbor. Today, seems like there's been about thirty seconds of anything from Michigan's end. For years, they've basically given GameDay nothing. Fort Schembechler has never been this maddeningly walled off.

Look at the way James Franklin engaged with the crowd on his segment today.
