Coaching Carousel Thread
Maybe I’m just adding to the thread madness but I thought we could summarize it all in here as it stands today and not have a new thread every rumor. If not, neg away.
Riley to USC, Kelly to LSU, Pry to Virginia Tech, Stoops signs extension at Kentucky, Clawson signs extension at Wake Forrest, Washington gets Deboer, Florida signed Billy Napier and obviously Franklin and Mel signed extensions at their schools.
Notre Dame and Oklahoma are currently the big openings that will continue to the domino effect. who will they get and what falls from there. Miami and potentially Oregon could be in this soon if the new AD doesn’t keep Diaz.

Interesting factoid: Jimbo Fisher's new contract allows him to leave A&M for another job without owing them a dime. I wonder if any school with deep pockets would make a run at hiring him.
Only three other top football programs have such deals with their coaches: Alabama, Clemson, and OSU.

don't forget.... ND is urban meyer's dream job..... i doubt it would be difficult to lure him away from the smoldering dumpster in Jax.... but is there any possible way ND would hire that fuckin' sleaze ball?

I’m here to learn about what savory recruits/transfers we can pry from ND and potentially Cincinnati after Fickel bounces.

If Tucker goes to ND, my head might explode

Wait, when did this rumor pop up? Tucker to ND? He just signed a huge extension a few days ago, and he is looking around already. That “win” over Michigan is paying off big time….

The amount of disposal income in the upper echelons of our society is truly mind-boggling.

Dominos are flying! Can't see ND going with Freeman or Rees, not a position for a first timer. Just happy we are not in this mess!!

Saw this in an ESPN article on Kelly.....
Still there's absolutely no excuse for how Kelly treated his players, assistant coaches and administrators. In a text message to his players on Monday night, Kelly apologized for not being able to tell them in person that he was leaving. "[F]or now, just know that my love for you is limitless and I am so proud of all that you have accomplished," Kelly said. A team meeting was scheduled for 7 a.m. ET Tuesday
'know my love for you...' straight out of a hallmark card wtf.
